So you want to go to Heaven. The Bible tells us so much about God’s Home Heaven.
God created us inside a physical world. Here we are limited by time and space. But Heaven is in the spirit world dimension, very different from ours — a timeless, infinite continuum, where Father God dwells.
Jesus said (John 14:1-6) to His followers back then, just as He wanted us to hear Him for today:
“Do not let your heart be troubled (afraid, cowardly). Believe [confidently] in God and trust in Him, [have faith, hold on to it, rely on it, keep going and] believe also in Me. 2
In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and I will take you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also.
4 And [to the place] where I am going, you know the way.” 5 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going; so how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him,
“I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”
– John 14:1-6
Do you know beyond the shadow of a doubt that you are going to Heaven? (Read 1 John 1) What makes you think you have been accepted by God to go there? Kind of really important to know that, right?
The Apostle Paul, who wrote most of the New Testament (under God’s guidance) — says this about that:
50 Now I say this, brothers and sisters, that
flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;
nor does [a]the perishable inherit [b]the imperishable.
51 Behold, I am telling you a [c]mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised [d]imperishable, and we will be changed.
53 For this [e]perishable must put on [f]the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.
“As is”, born naturally into flesh and blood, we are under God’s gavelled justice of “condemned” (Romans 3:23). It’s because He is Holy, and we are not. We are sinful (Isaiah 53:6). He is not. Heaven is for the regenerate, not the degenerate “as is” puny human.
“As is” we “cannot inherit the kingdom of God“. There is not a chance in Hell for salvation “as is”. Things inside us absolutely have to change here on earth, for us to get to Heaven. Only Jesus gives us that chance to change, but we must personally, purposely choose Him.
We must have a spiritual rebirth with Jesus – to qualify for Heaven. Jesus saves us from our sin according to His plan of the ages. “You must be born again”, Jesus said.
into an inheritance
which is imperishable
[beyond the reach of change]
reserved in heaven for you
– 1 Peter 1:4
Jesus, our Creator God Himself, repeated this several times, so I will also. We must be “born again”.
5 Jesus answered, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh [the physical is merely physical], and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not be surprised that I have told you, ‘You must be born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified].’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” – John 3:verses 5-8
Without a lot of head knowledge about it — you can bow your will to Him and accept Him as Savior and Lord. Right now. Now is the best time.
The amazing event of “the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet” is just around the corner. It will happen soon. By all indications, we are living in the time frame Jesus gave for the Rapture. Those who are truly born again will put on immortality – and become immortal. Ready for that!

Heaven will be awe-full and law-less. Sort of like Alice Cooper‘s School’s Out (“School’s out forever”), but with holiness. “No more pencils, No more books, No more teacher’s dirty looks.” And it won’t be “We might not come Back at all”, but rather We won’t be Back at all.

My best day here – it’s not even on the graph of heaven’s pleasure chart. Nothing here comes even close to how much better “good” will be, and be forever – there. Always high – up on that chart. Always constant. No bad days. – Source: My best day here
Love will be a constant quadrillion aroma. Sweet. Every one around you – with an attitude… a love attitude, in all we think, in all we want, in all we feel, in all we say, in all we do. Every moment of timeless infinity. (There’ll be no “time”, no “eons”. Incomprehensible now.)
Always forgiving, never condemning. Never upset. Never a frown of sadness. No tears. Always up, never down… inside our soul and on our face. Always a smile, always for-real-cheerful.
Sin will be no more. No more danger, no more darkness, no more sin, no roaring lion at our heels, for Satan’s bound, and Holy Holy Holy God will have finalized His plan for the ages. We will have finally reached our “inheritance which is imperishable [beyond the reach of change] and undefiled and unfading….”
