1 John 1:9 Amplified Bible (AMP) 9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with His will and purpose].
2 Timothy 3. “Difficult Times Will Come”
2 Timothy 3 Amplified Bible (AMP) “Difficult Times Will Come” 3 But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear]. 2 For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient […]
Even if you die, you will live
For the unbeliever – death is the portal to an instant appointment with The Judge, God Himself. For the believer – death is the portal to Heaven. “Even if you die, you will live”, Jesus said.
Endurance with your faith
“Your life is a journey you must travel with a deep consciousness of God.” (1 Peter 1:18-21) To be a “Christian” requires endurance. I want to finish well. How about you?
Choosing God’s greater wealth rather than passing pleasures

Staying Alive
The faithful have a faith that is staying alive day by day.Through all our struggles, we keep our eyes on Jesus, saying yes to Him and saying no to sin – following Him by faith.
The BAD FRUIT List
Taken from the article: Bad Fruit Here is Ephesians 4: verses 12-32 — transposed and liberally edited to make a hypothetical list: The Bad Fruit List. I am not changing the Scriptural meaning. (Not to worry.) I am merely making it speak as if Paul were to have spoken this passage directly to only those […]
When we face difficult times in our life
God is my hope, my encouragement, my confidence. When we face difficult times in our life, the follower of Christ finds hope and encouragement in the words of God to us – the Bible. God Himself is our hope, our encouragement, our confidence. “We overflow with confidence in His promises.” Romans 15:4-6 4 For whatever was […]
Death was just a doorway
Death was just a doorway—on our side of it, a bed in a tiny upstairs room with lotions and oral care sponge swabs on the nightstand; on the other side of it, “innumerable angels in festal gathering” and “the spirits of the righteous made perfect” (Hebrews 12:22-23) and the face of God: “As for me, […]
Do not fear, I will help you
God is a loving God, always with us, never away. He helps us in our time of need. Invisible, Almighty God carries us who follow Him.
At your wit’s end
“On God my salvation and my glory rest; He is my rock of [unyielding] strength, my refuge is in God.” – Psalm 62:7 Amplified Bible (AMP) At your wit’s end these days, with all that life is throwing at you now? Are you at the end of your wit? Well, that’s not hard to do. […]
They in fact have seen nothing
“Woe (judgment is coming) to the foolish prophets who are following their own spirit [claiming to have seen things] but have [in fact] seen nothing. – Ezekiel 13:3. This is the Lord God talking, from a passage in Ezekiel. He wanted us to know about the dangers of foolish false prophets today.
2 Timothy 3:13-17
2 Timothy 3:13-17 13 But evil men and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in the things that you have learned and of which you are convinced [holding tightly to the truths], knowing from whom you learned them, 15 and how from childhood you have known […]
The Good Fruit List
Wow. I want this. I want this inside my insides, streaming from my soul.
The Fool Says
So, what kind of fool are you…? Remember the popular song saying this? “What kind of fool do you think I am?”
Signs of an unrepentant heart
The unrepentant heart makes excuses for sin (vile things before God). What do I support – that is “not of God”? …in my personal practices, in my politics, in my relationships, in my mind and heart? We rationalize so well, we fool ourselves! What does your life “evidence”?
God’s Think
I think. You think. We all think. But, what does God think? Thinking is necessary. But what if your “think” is not God’s “think”? Then your “think” will end so very badly when you reach That Day of Judgement, quivering before God in the realization that it is His Think that rules the heavens, not yours. Read about God’s “think”. What you think – matters. How you act it out – matters more. It will seal your eternity – with Him, or without Him.
Romans 6:13
Do not go on offering members of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness. But offer yourselves to God [in a decisive act] as those alive [raised] from the dead [to a new life], and your members [all of your abilities—sanctified, set apart] as instruments of righteousness [yielded] to God. – Romans 6:13
Trace your God back to the origins of your faith
When it comes to God and your faith: What’ you got? I’ve got real, actual, tangible, historical and scientific evidences for my faith in Jesus. Jesus wins-out over all other contenders.
The Apostle Paul’s Criticisms
What’s the difference between a critical spirit – and the Apostle Paul’s Pauline criticisms (or Berean thinking). When is criticism okay?
Ephesians 3:16-21
Ephesians 3:16-21 Amplified Bible (AMP) Source: biblegateway.com 16 May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality], 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been […]
Heaven will be awe-full and law-less
Heaven will be …filled-up full with unending awe of the One-and-Only, the wonderfully awesome God, and …filled-up full with overflowing love that voids any need for laws. Love will rule inside our insides. The peace of God, in Heaven, will surpass our present ability to understand that realm.
Your useless way of life
I refuse to live a useless life. You know what I mean. A “wood, hay, and stubble” life (1 Corinthians 3:12). How about you?
Light in the dimness of my soul
The truths of Scripture, the life of Christ, the discoveries of science – all should combine to lift us heavenward. Yet we remain strangely anxious. Our days are swamped by the mundane; our nights are swallowed by insomnia. Seldom do we know true restedness. Yet God would tell us, “Be still before me; wait patiently. Trust in me, and I will give you rest.”
The Identity Game
Let’s play a game. Identify the Animal: What kind of animal is this? Just above the mouth a long snout that can drag the ground: Long neck that puts the head way up into the tree branches: Elongated body with no feet, slithering on the ground: Slimy creature of the sea with tentacles all around: […]
Making God
Are you following a god made after your own understanding – or Creator God the One and Only? Are you making “god”? Would you like to die and find yourself kneeling before a different God than the one you had been following while on earth? God is calling us to Himself. Are you seeking God?
John 17

In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 17 New American Standard Bible (NASB) Source: biblegateway.com [Note: Links below take you off this site to Biblegateway] The High Priestly […]
Isaiah 55:6-7. Turn to the LORD
Turn to the LORD and pray to Him, now that He is near. Let the wicked leave their way of life and change their way of thinking. Let them turn to the LORD, our God; He is merciful and quick to forgive. – Isaiah 55:6-7 Good News Translation (GNT)
Love forgives others
Love forgives. Plain and simple. Nothing less. Is your love acting, or “failing”? 1 Peter 4:8 Above all, have fervent and unfailing love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins [it overlooks unkindness and unselfishly seeks the best for others]. Got to have it: “have fervent and unfailing love”. Have it. Have […]
