What is due to Jesus, because of what He has done for you? He died for you, for me, for all sinners alike. So – what should be our response to Him?
Oh how marvelous – His grace towards us, sinners all. When it comes to repentance for salvation – Jesus is all inclusive. He will accept any truly repentant sinner of any vile stripe. You name it, He will forgive. But His is a limited grace. Don’t try to squeeze-by in His courts of justice.
In recognition of God as my Creator, my Father in Heaven, in affirmation of my relationship to Him as His born again child, I hereby make the following statements as “My Pact with God”
Are you seeing change in your heart – since you “became a Christian”? We absolutely will see change towards godliness in our life… when the Holy Spirit enters into us. God can accept all your most heinous of sins. He’s got all of it covered by His death on our behalf. So the problem is […]
Years ago when I first became a believer in Jesus, I remember my mama, a Residential School survivor, screaming at me, calling me a traitor, and asking me why I chose a religion that hurt my people. The fact is, I didn’t choose a religion . . . I chose a way of life that healed my spirit. The religion I can do without, but I can’t do without Jesus.
Folks! You can NOT fake it with God. He knows your heart. Faking = Still lost. You can talk like/smell like/pray like/look like/act like/dress like/preach like/give money like/claim church membership like/go to church like… but if your heart is not genuinely His, “with all your heart…”, then you are not saved. You are a God damned “believer”. ‘You must be born again.’
Thief On The Cross. Nothing religious was done by the thief. He merely (1) confessed his sinfulness, and (2) acknowledged Jesus as “the Christ”.
It was quite the mystery of the universe. Sin had destroyed the lovely Garden of Eden relationship Adam and Eve had with Creator God. So God established a “covenant of forgiveness”, a system of sacrifice whereby His followers could be forgiven.
But it was obvious that we on earth could not go on for all of eternity sacrificing lambs for the forgiveness of sins. What did God have in the works? It remained a mystery for centuries. And then, finally, according to His perfect timing, He revealed the answer.
It cost God to make us His children of privilege. Jesus made this privilege possible for all who come to Him – not just to some, but to all peoples. Some do reject Him (Hebrews 4:6). Their choice. It is a choice, to receive Him or not. Have you accepted salvation in Christ?
1 Kings 18:21 “Elijah approached all the people and said, “How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal [is God], follow him.” Now is the time to speak up, answer, share your faith, tell the truth. With evil right in front of our eyes, around […]
In God’s Home Heaven, we who followed Jesus on earth — will all be truly INVINCIBLE, living in incorruptible, immortal bodies – like Jesus had when He was resurrected. v50 “Now I say this, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God….”
Your Lifestyle… is what you do day in and day out. Jesus warned us to not be dishonest with Him. Read: Sincerity and Truth 1. If you choose to accept Jesus as your Savior, then follow Him with all that you are. Following Him is the natural thing to do — if you were actually […]
Jesus was not a fascist, and neither are His followers. Of course some fakes, the fake faith so-called Christian types may be whatever catches their fancy, but not any genuine Christian (absolutely none). Christian theology and practice in America today is somewhere very far from the fascism spectrum. This should be obvious to the world, […]
Ever felt that “impending doom” when your computer suddenly got a black screen!? Ever call on The Computer Guy to reset? I remember those days. Turning to God is like re-starting. It’s like punching “Reset”. Immediately what’s “current” disappears, and I start over brand new, with no pending doom. Turning to God is – accepting […]
I already met the challenge. What about you? My response to Jesus was, “Yes…. I will follow you with all that I am.” What is your response to this challenge from the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Here is the challenge: The Challenge Creator God came to earth on a mission. God Himself came down to […]
1 John 3:9 No one who is born of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, because God’s seed [His principle of life, the essence of His righteous character] remains [permanently] in him [who is born again —who is reborn from above —spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose]; and he [who is […]
The fool says in his heart: I will focus all my energies on my 70+ earthly years, and leave to chance my million-infinite-years. I am so egocentric that God will just have to get in line. Forget God. I am all there is, all I care about. What does “god” have to do with anything? […]
Marvelous grace. To a sinner, what else could be so marvelous? God’s grace, that “un-merited” bestowing of a blessing on me. Just because of Him. Just because He choses to do so within His Heavenly legal system. What marvelous grace of the damning God, who would go so far out of His way to “un-condemn” […]
…references in the Bible about being “born again” (in the Amplified Bible (AMP) version) John 3:4-7 4 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter his mother’s womb a second time and be born, can he?” 5 Jesus answered, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, […]
Are you ready to lose your soul today – forever? Or are you ready to meet your Maker? Is your account with Him balanced? Hebrews 9:27 …it is appointed and destined for all men to die once and after this [comes certain] judgment We all have “an account” with God. And it starts out in […]

Me – getting up another day, praying… I don’t do frenetic. I don’t do worry. I don’t let it in. I don’t start my day all out of kilter, out of whack. I refuse to stumble into my day. In the morning when my mind wakes up, before I get up, that’s the time I […]
When we accept Christ, the whole universe becomes our family domain! We become a child of Creator God. Our new life, spirit and soul, begins eternal life as the Holy Spirit of God, part of the “three in one” mysterious Triune God, takes up residence in our body.
“You thought that I was just like you.” – Psalm 50: verse 21 It all seems so right. God must be just fine with who I am and all I do. A few things might not be right, but God will “get over it” just like I do with things I don’t like. Right? Well, […]
…what is necessary to be saved Have you examined your life lately? Try reading through the entire chapter of Matthew 25 and then look at the life you are living — in the context of what Jesus was teaching there. Glean what Jesus is telling us about what is required to be saved. You might […]
Have you ever tried to grasp the deep intensity of God’s feelings against your sin? Do you know how much He hates sin?
Sheer mercy! I know the feeling. Luther of Germany, Martin, expressed it: I grasped that the righteousness of God is that righteousness by which through grace and sheer mercy God justifies us through faith. Thereupon I felt myself to be reborn and to have gone through open doors into paradise. – Martin Luther, quoted by […]
A common misconception out there is that, since God created us all – then all of us are his children, “children of God”. Nothing could be further from the truth, actually. The normal human is actually born into a state of separation from God. Romans 3:23 – for all have sinned and fall short of […]
Works. Sincerity. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out […]
Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” [John 3:3 and John 3:7]. He was saying that all babies are naturally birthed into flesh, but to be birthed by the Spirit of God – we have to be born again, into a “new […]
