Jesus is Creator God

February 27, 2021 by Keith Swift Leave a Comment

So why on earth not?  Why on earth NOT believe in Jesus – and follow Him closely, intensely, with all that you are? What else do you have going? What else on earth is worthy of choosing – above Jesus?

What is proper among saints

January 15, 2021 by Keith Swift Leave a Comment

Ephesians 5:1-3.  “Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]; 2 and walk continually in love [that is, value one another—practice empathy and compassion, unselfishly seeking the best for others], just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and sacrifice to […]

Exposing a dichotomous heart

July 3, 2020 by Keith Swift Leave a Comment

Permission to enter Have you ever been denied access? …access to anything: your own computer, an airplane, a country, a bank, a school, a concert, your own house..?  Didn’t that feel horrible?  I mean, here you came all this way, looking forward expectantly to enter… and, you were denied!  You thought you were ready! “Permission […]

The Hand of God

July 8, 2019 by Keith Swift Leave a Comment

“…because the hand of the Lord his God was upon him.” – Ezra 7:6 We, the human race, are not alone, spinning around a planet in some far-off galaxy in a universe devoid of it’s Creator.  Creator God continues His work in all of us. It behooves those of us who follow Him to get […]

Repentance in the Bible

June 25, 2019 by Keith Swift Leave a Comment

The meaning of true “repentance”… The Lord God of the Old Testament always demanded true repentance, and He never changes.  The same is true in the New Testament. Are you following this God? Or have you fallen for a different god of a different gospel?  Are you expecting God to change His ways, or are […]

What sort of person are you?

December 3, 2018 by Keith Swift Leave a Comment

Giving it your all.  That is what God expects of us. Are you sitting on the fence, as it were, hoping God sees your one foot on His side, but still keeping your other foot…NOT? We know that “being saved” is not “being without sin“.  If that were God’s requirement, then we would all be […]

A God Damn

June 13, 2017 by Keith Swift Leave a Comment

“Come now, and let us reason together” – Isaiah 1:18 Have you ever tried to grasp the deep intensity of God’s feelings against your sin? Do you know how much He hates sin? Sin is: anything done contrary to God’s will.  And His will is made quite clear by God in the Bible.  His will […]

Withholding Obedience

April 8, 2017 by Keith Swift Leave a Comment

The saving grace of God is so totally, awesomely immense!  But it is limited.  It is not all-accepting, indiscriminately saying to all comers: “Welcome.  Enter into My Kingdom”.  God has limited His grace of salvation to be effective ONLY for those who are sincere in heart.  God only saves those who truly repent of their […]

How Much Is Enough?

January 18, 2017 by Keith Swift Leave a Comment

What about you and God?  What is “enough” – for Jesus to approve of you?  Approve of your repentance?  Approve of your life?  What is enough for Christ to actually save you? It is one thing “to wish” for and really really want God’s offer of salvation, but quite another thing to really, actually… deny, take up, and follow.

Examine Yourselves

March 28, 2016 by Keith Swift

The Bible exhorts us to periodically examine our self and make sure you are in the faith.  Don’t get caught standing before God Himself and discover there that you are NOT His follower!  I would say it is serious enough to say, “Be damn sure you are right with God!” 2 Corinthians 13:5 Test yourselves […]

IF You Follow Me

March 18, 2015 by Keith Swift

Scripture says IF we follow Christ, then we are worthy of Him. The very real reverse implication is – if we are NOT following Him in our daily living… then we are not worthy to stand in His presence on That Day. Scary thought.

God Damned “Believers”

March 4, 2009 by Keith Swift Leave a Comment

Introduction. Scripture teaches us that without Christ all of humankind is unworthy of coming into God’s Kingdom – because they do not meet up to the standard of His Holiness. No Faith In Heaven

I think faith will not be necessary in heaven. ¨…Now we see in a glass darkly…¨ (1 Corinthians 13:12)  but not later, when we will then be able to see ¨face to face¨.    Scripture says that ¨now¨these three abide (faith, hope, love…1 Corinthians 13:13), but it implies in the context that later (being in […]

Inexplicable Joy

One of the main things that describes being in heaven is JOY. The word “joy” has a much deeper meaning than just happiness. To be happy can change so quickly. It can come and go in a moment. But joy is different. It is a deep seated contentment. Everything is right! No sorrow or grief. […]

About Biblical Inerrancy

Thief On The Cross

Thief On The Cross. Nothing religious was done by the thief. He merely (1) confessed his sinfulness, and (2) acknowledged Jesus as “the Christ”.

Every believer’s new life in Christ [Part One]

Because God is extreme to the nth degree – God requires an extreme type of relationship from us. Once we get born again, we will continue growing deeply, naturally, into further maturity in Christ.

Growing into our natural new life in Christ

Growing is what should be happening after we are “born again”, Paul says. The natural response to Christ is to grab hold of the good soil – and flourish.  Ephesians 1 is about flourishing, germinating naturally, sprouting strong and stable.

Abortion is not biblical

Numbers 5:27 The New American Standard Bible translates this: “her thigh will [b collapse] shrivel” Psalm 39:13 Amplified Bible “For You formed my innermost parts; You knit me [together] in my mother’s womb.“ In WORLD Magazine and WORLD Digital, Leah Hickman [Twitter @leahmhickman] writes (WNG Post Date: March 24, 2021) “Translation abuse”  https://world.wng.org/2021/03/translation_abuse “Some abortion […]
