A series about Heaven. What’s it going to be like? How do I get there?
Reading the tiny book of Jude we see how desperately lost people are without Christ. It is no small matter, rejecting the soul-cleansing power of salvation in Christ. You think you are just fine, hunky-dory? Have you considered how God sees you?
So you want to go to Heaven. The Bible tells us so much about God’s Home Heaven. God created us inside a physical world. Here we are limited by time and space. But Heaven is in the spirit world dimension where Father God dwells.
I thank God every day that He brought me up, out of the miry clay. I am sure as Hell that you have seen the miry clay, the sins. Have you, sure as Heaven, experienced the mind-bending, clean-up, brand new making power of Jesus – Creator God?
The other day I read some Christian’s criticism, saying it was entirely ridiculous that someone (like me?) would think that voting a certain way could lead one to Hell. Well, lets stop right there. Think about it: Are you… Voting while set on God’s will, His values and His purposes? Does your voting matter – […]
Where’s the real road to heaven? There is a broad way that seems right. But what it seems to be is not what it really is. It “is a broad road that says heaven, but goes to hell.” Sin always says a good thing. It talks a good talk. It attracts us to go that way. Sin promises heaven. But the road it leads down is the highway to hell. Are you on the road to hell, or have you turned your life around – and chosen Jesus?
When we start “the after-life”, things will heat-up for some of us, but things get really cool for the rest of us. If you know what I mean. Jesus predicted “the end” (Matthew 24:verse 14), and He’s showing us signs of the times in order to give us a heads up.
Going for a walk in our neighborhood with my wife, with our rural mountain beauty all around… Surrounded by a world of hurt, virus, and sin that never lets us go, and those countless neighbors, lost, and I hear their helpless bleating “baa baa baa”, and still I keep my mask on tight, now they […]
“I am fearfully and wonderfully made …my soul knows it very well“ – Psalm 139:14 Understanding my life’s Care and Content label It´s like we all have a tag on the back of our neck. Just like any pair of jeans – the designer stitches-in his name. I have a tag on me, and it […]
…a series about Hell – which was created by God for the banishment of Lucifer.
When this life is over and we’ve lived it all for self we’ll have nothing in eternity but self and self that’s all
What do you say about Hell?
Why hell… it comes from a judicial sentence of condemnation by God for those who reject Him (Satan, demons, unsaved humans)
I am amazed by people unafraid of hell! How? The fear of God should draw us all to Him. Not afraid of hell… but I’m afraid of snakes but I’m afraid of dying but I’m afraid of getting hurt but I’m afraid of being stupid but I’m afraid of getting into a car accident but […]
– Statement from hell: “Just died and gone to hell. It’s too late to turn back now. Now I believe, I believe, I believe, I believe… but it’s too late to turn back now.” Can you imagine the horror? What anguish and regret. Get it together now, amigo! Don’t wait. Turn to Jesus. Talk to […]
*This article, What Jesus Taught, is based on an article by Brendon Powell: Which Jesus do you serve? Would Jesus have suffered and died on a cross – if He did not love us, His created ones? Through His life and death Jesus taught us so much. Jesus taught that we need salvation: Jesus […]
To say “I have no religious affiliation” is to say… I am such a lazy-ass I can’t make-up my mind I am so mixed-up I can’t figure it out I am so lame I will just leave those matters for others to deal with I don’t really care what God does with me; I’ll take […]
The Bible teaches that hell exists. What does the Bible say about hell? Let’s see.
Jesus taught that there is a physical place called “heaven”, or “paradise”. It is actually way beyond what we know as “physical”. Imagine heaven. See it from Bible “windows”, the perspective of what He told us Heaven is…
…a snippet of talk in hell Jake: Who in hell do you think you are? Mary: Me. Just one of many. I rejected Christ so many times. Never accepted Him. That’s why I’m here. Author: Unknown FOR MORE: Hell Is Home Going To Hell? Does saying a “sinners prayer” save one from going to hell? […]
Hell is home for the walking dead. You ain’t leavin’ this home. You don’t want to go there. You don’t want to be one. But, there is hope in Christ. Be sure to break new ground, get out of your living grave – if you don’t know Him personally. He saves sinners. I know, because […]
The highway to hell is quite a ride. But it’s hectic, with all kinds of stops and twists and turns. There is a tiny road along the way, however, that leads to God. It shows-up periodically on the highway to hell. It tends to catch sinners by surprise, because most don’t give a damn about God, and haven’t really considered traveling by any other road. They don’t like change, and most-all their friends are going to hell anyway, so they say. Heaven is always just around the corner if you choose to take this tiny road. It is a choice. It is, however, one choice amongst many.
Being God damned in hell is to be forever damned forever without God without joy without happiness devoid of God’s goodness without any good thing (since God is good) forever doomed in gloom defeated beaten always restless never satisfied never content never calm never relaxed never rested empty devoid of future good unfulfilled in everything […]
