The final frontier is just ahead. Ready for it? Do you know you are a Christian? Are you really really sure? Be sure – read the Bible.
Put down sinners… with compassion and love?
We are all so sinful. Incomplete. But there are many today who say sin is irrelevant. They say they are not sinning. How odd. Sinning is so common. I sin. You sin. What’s with this?
The Inclusive Yet Exclusive Salvation of Jesus
Did you know that God limited His grace towards us, His fallen creation? Salvation, in that sense, is not free. It will cost you – all of you. The salvation of Jesus is both inclusive and exclusive. Find out how that works.
The Lord can restore you
I was legally damned by God, but now I am legally forgiven. He will never leave me nor forsake me – because I have been born again – redeemed. And now, God continually refreshes and restores my soul. He comforts me.
Blessed by forgiveness by The Hand of God our Savior
Forgiveness by God Himself, is different than some human granting you forgiveness (even that of a priest). God’s forgiveness is official in Heaven’s Courts, and so, it lasts forever.
Sin is not the issue in salvation
Salvation in Christ is not essentially about sin. God does not save you because you throw away your sin, or because you are able to stop sinning. Salvation is about your yielding to Him in repentance. Big difference.
I’m in it to win it
Contrary to Andy Stanley and his book, Not in It to Win It, I am! I am in it to win it – all for Jesus. This article is a review of the Andy Stanley book.
Claiming a sin as – God’s will for you
Nowadays we have way too many professing “Christians” who are confusing compassion and love for others with God’s marvelous grace. Many are now exchanging His grace for inclusivity. They claim that God will accept certain sinners – in their sin – because they are exceptionally loving and kind. Is that biblical? Will God accept you because you are exceptionally loving?
Heaven’s Gate will soon shut and lock
How long will God wait for you — to repent? Jesus waited 1,952 years for me, and then 7 more years. Jesus saved me! I’m so glad He waited.
The way everlasting
Hell of a place – Hell. Ready for that? But wait – Jesus died to make a way to Heaven!
Take a Stance on Homosexuality – like Jesus did
Anything contrary to God’s expressed will has to be carefully avoided. Homosexuality, for example, is pushed nowadays as “okay by God”. But actually, it is listed in the Bible right beside many other practices that are not pleasing to God. Temptation towards any sin is NOT sinful. But, if we practice a sin, then we deny Christ. Want to please God in all you do?
The sins around us and the sins we do
The world flaunts its enjoyment of sin. Many a life is being shipwrecked by the practice of sin. Here is a list of what is what with God.
Forgiveness for evil deeds done
Time and tide are relentless. So are the many relentless Old Testament prophecies happening right now – but not in the way most thought they would be fulfilled. Are you ready for “the end” that Jesus spoke of? Take Jesus’ Challenge.
Salvation in Christ is beyond huge
“Christ offers us His “iron-clad” humongous type of salvation”… or, on the flip-side, this article could be titled… “The limits of what God will do for sinners”.
I am well in my soul
I embrace this life God gave me. I also “Embrace the Suck” (the difficulties). It’s up to me to keep watch over my soul, my spirit, keep it fit, keep it clean, keep it well. Life in Jesus is all about Him. I refuse to “opt out”, to give in to sin. I don’t let it beat me down.
Know that you know you know
Sometimes a believer may wonder: “Am I really truly saved?” The Bible says we can know we are. What does the Bible say about our salvation in Christ? Are you sure you are saved?
Forever forgiving – for God’s sake!
Is malice perpetually active in your heart, in your mind and in what you do and say every day… bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, perpetual animosity, resentment, strife, fault-finding, slander, all spitefulness, verbal abuse, malevolence? (Ephesians 4:31-32)
God forgives all wrongdoings of all repentant sinners, no exception
I’m still a workin’ more on being more consistently kind, more helpful, more tender-hearted, more forgiving. How ’bout you?
The Mystery of Salvation
The culminating act of God to bring salvation to all who would believe and follow Him — was the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, the baby born in a manger, of Mary, “fathered” by God the Holy Spirit.
Heavenly Decree Against Us
There is a heavenly decree against us condemning us forever because of our sin. Only Jesus provides a way of escape!
Judgement of God
The judgement of God is a sure thing – guaranteed by God Himself. God also guarantees eternal freedom from judgement to all that turn to Him. That is why Jesus came to earth. Jesus came to save us all. Are you ready to meet your Maker?
Turning away from God
Sinning is easy. Repenting? Not so much. But God “will not be willing to forgive him” after earth time is done. Are you turning away from God? Or, have you been born again?
The Kingdom of God is very exclusive, very luxurious, very special
Entrance into God’s Home Heaven is going to be – Oh so very amazing! Wonderful! But getting there is difficult. Frankly, I doubt you ever will. What do you think?
Outward religion but inward… everything unclean
We are warned by the Apostle Paul and Matthew about the days when many will practice religion to look good, but inwardly… they are “full of dead men’s bones and everything unclean.” This you? Matthew 23:27
Making my face smile
Smile. It affects others.
Biggest prophecy of all time
What was the biggest prophecy of all time? Think about it. It is so very clear to see.
Forget about it
What do you do with the sins of your past? Paul says, I am continually, consciousely, purposely forgetting all those things of my past, what is behind me. I leave them back there, behind me. And now — I press on.
Contemplate This
Contemplate arriving in sin – before Almighty, Holy, God.
The message of salvation spoken by Jesus to Paul
Jesus spoke this to Paul on the road to Damascus – one short verse that explains the Gospel of salvation in Jesus, in Acts 26:18.
