…not believing in Jesus – it’s so easy
What loopholes have you found? Those convincing arguments that keep you from following Jesus – they’re so easy, are they not?
Where do you start, in this quest to justify yourself? What do you say to yourself and others, to convince yourself in your philosophy of life? How do you argue away the claims of Jesus, so that He is wrong and you are right?
said unto Jesus,
And who is my neighbour?
– Luke 10:29 (NASB)
But what about the hard facts, the evidences upon which faith is built? Jesus began in the Old Testament as He shared about how He was the Way to God. Have you researched for yourself? Have you looked into the Old and New Testaments with an open mind, really trying to see in the Bible what Jesus said about Himself? Have you seen the prophecies – and how Jesus Himself fulfilled them?
And beginning at Moses and all the prophets,
he expounded unto them
in all the scriptures
the things concerning himself.
– Luke 24:27
It’s not rocket science! Looking into the Bible is quite simple. The difficult part is opening yourself to the possibility that Jesus really just might be who He said He is. Maybe you’ve already convinced yourself against Jesus. How about trying again?
People Get Ready (lyrics)
People get ready, there’s a train comin’
You don’t need no baggage, you just get on board
All you need is faith to hear the diesels hummin’
You don’t need no ticket you just thank the lord

Context of this article: “…what do I need to do to get eternal life?” (verse 25)
25 Just then a religion scholar stood up with a question to test Jesus.
“Teacher, what do I need to do to get eternal life?”
26 He answered, “What’s written in God’s Law?
How do you interpret it?”
27 He said, “That you love the Lord your God
with all your passion and prayer and muscle and intelligence—
and that you love your neighbor as well as you do yourself.”
28 “Good answer!” said Jesus. “Do it and you’ll live.”
29 Looking for a loophole, he asked,
“And just how would you define ‘neighbor’?”
– Luke 10:25-29
