Every breathing moment is a new moment to choose to be loving to others – or not. I do not have to be what I was in the past. I don’t have to be what I was this morning! I can choose to confess and repent — and be loving now. I’m developing habits of love!
We pray because God cares, and He hears what we say. The beginning of prayer is the purifying of our spirit. All that self-talk we all engage our minds in throughout the day? “Talk it” to God. If I take my eyes off Jesus… I become unbalanced in my soul. I take refuge in God… There is no better way to deal with life. The number to call for repair in all areas is: P-R-A-Y-E-R
Speaking to God silently inside your mind: God-Talk… is praying to God without voicing it out loud. “Self Talk” and “God Talk”- He sees into your thoughts, your feelings, your intentions, your falseness or genuineness, your honesty or lies, what you really are inside of your mind and heart.”
When you, in prayer, accept Jesus as your personal Savior — you have come to an awesome, almighty place of wonder and love.
“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever does not receive and welcome the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.” – Mark 10:15 Excerpt from: More Than Conquerors – In Christ My faith is in Jehovah God, Yahweh, the great “I AM,” the God of forgiveness and […]
Excerpt from the article: God Speaking Repent now. There is no magic formula or speech. Just speak your heart to Me, sincerely and truthfully. I can hear your voice. I can hear your thoughts. Direct your heart to Me — something like this: Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe you […]
God actually hears us. He answers us when we pray. He cared enough to come to earth. He cared enough to die on Calvary’s cross for us, so why would we doubt that He cares enough to answer our expressed need? Do not fear – God will hear.
All that self-talk we all engage our minds in throughout the day? We can direct it to conversations with God. That is just so totally awesome!
Jesus teaches us how to pray. He gave us a blueprint for how to build our prayers. Jesus showed us in one prayer — what an effective prayer will often have in it.
“…I have come in response to your words.” – Angel Gabriel; Daniel 10:12 To us puny humans, everything God is in Himself, and everything God does in action — is extreme. His power is extreme. His divine nature is extreme. His knowledge is extreme. His mercy is extreme. His compassion is extreme. All that He […]
I cast my cares on You my Lord, Father God. I look to You in faith believing You will carry the day today. Power me through it. Love others through me. I know You go before me. You prepare the way before I get there. You know my ways before I think them up and […]
I start most every day something like this: I get on up and get on High. I’m lifted up. I start my day with God in prayer – just me and God in the cavern of my head. Creator God is everywhere. Nowhere that He’s not. And He’s in my head. He knows my thoughts. My thoughts, an open gateway to my soul, for God. I think my thoughts to Him “in prayer”. No one hears me, but God Himself. He even knows what I’m about to say. Oh mysterious, sacred Spirit that lives inside my eternal soul.
Since I am born again into a new life in Christ, I’m not only human, after all. Never again. Through Christ I am now a new creation of God, and He, by the Holy Spirit, has a special place inside my soul. Like no other “god” could have done, He made my spirit alive so […]
Is it proper to pray to Jesus directly, instead of directing our prayer to Father God, as Jesus Himself prayed? What does the Bible itself say about that?
…a prayer for today Oh Lord, Father, I just come to you now in prayer. In my inner soul I kneel before you. Oh my God, thank You for the privilege to come into Your very presence this very moment. Thank you for your goodness, and your kindness. Thank you that you love me – […]
Prayer is a mysterious thing, is it not? Praying: I come to God through my spirit, with my soul speaking from my mind and heart. The Bible says God hears and responds to the prayers of His people. Prayer “works” because God is gracious and forgiving and asks us to come into His presence. If […]
The little verse of Psalm 66:18 teaches us a whole lot about God – and prayer. Just in this tiny verse we see: “If I regard wickedness in my heart, The Lord will not hear.” I am born again, and God has forgiven me of all my sins. However, on any given day or moment, if I come to Him in prayer AND am holding a sin, so to speak, or allowing a sin to have a place in my life — then, the Bible tells me: God will not give heed to what I say.

Want to be put to good use – by God? Pray like this…
Biblical prayer is not a decree; and we do not “curse” disease. Please don’t tell me it is based on Jesus cursing the tree! Prayers like “I decree”, “I command…”, “I curse the cancer…”, “I… command it to flee right now”, “I declare this to… dry bones”? What what WHAT! What “promise” of the Word says THAT?
What does the Bible teach us about prayer? We are taught to pray humbly to God the Father for whatever our need may be, in faith believing that He loves us like a father loves his child, and He will answer according to His will, according to what is best for us. How did Jesus […]
God is not some far away, distant-from-you, dis-concerned bubble of energy, inside some aura of mist on a mysterious planet far far away in a different galaxy. Star Trek might lead one to believe that! But the Bible says that Creator God created us to walk and talk with us, to commune with us, like He did with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:8).
God is able to see into the innermost parts of your heart. He knows what you feel. He knows what you want. He knows your thoughts. Even before you speak a word — He knows what you are going to say! God hears me as I speak to him silently in my mind – in prayer.
All that self-talk we all engage our minds in throughout the day? “Talk it” to God. You can direct all your self-talk to God as prayer.
What is a “Prayer of Repentance To Christ”? Here is an example.
What an incredibly peaceful, easy feeling I have in my inner soul. The Bible tells me I am right with God. I have been born again. I am a new creature now, changed by God, made brand new — and I have nothing to fear, for God is my Savior. There is nothing more I need, for God Himself has made me His child.
All over the world people are having dreams of Jesus appearing to them personally in their sleep. They are even conversing back and forth with Jesus in dreams! God is using dreams and visions today.

-Billy Graham’s Prayer For His Nation ‘Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance.
