Jackson Browne sang “I have done all that I could – To see the evil and the good”. He sang “Better bring your own redemption when you come – To the barricades of Heaven where I’m from.” But, per the Bible only Jesus brings true redemption.
Ever wonder just how much God and His angels watch over you. Well, the Bible says Jesus watches over you very carefully.
There was a time when nobody knew the Gospel of Christ. It had not yet been revealed to us. It was a mystery all throughout the Old Testament eras. The culminating act of God to bring salvation to all who would believe and follow Jesus – was the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. The truths of God never change, for our God is unchanging. But just as the mystery of salvation was finally revealed, God is revealing, little by little, the mysteries of His prophetic words spoken by His prophets of old. Our understanding of “prophecy” – is ever increasing. God is releasing prophecies of old into realities of today. They are popping fast!
PIC: Peruvian Andean road circa 1950. Life is full of choices. You know? (Sometimes you don’t have a choice – like this only road over the Andes: Peruvian Andean road circa 1950.) We want the best choice – every time, right? We make a choice, choosing one over another – in order to have the […]
The main point of the Bible is that God came down to earth as Jesus – to be our God and Savior. Jesus, while on earth, was absolutely God-man.
There is no other saving gospel
What “gospel” are you into? The Bible says there is no other gospel that saves us for all eternity – except the original Gospel of the early church apostles. None. The great falling away from the faith, predicted by Paul, is happening right now in the form of Bethel and other NAR-related church doctrines.
Jesus is stronger and He wins in the end. And because I am in Christ I am stronger than all the enemies of my soul, and I win in the end. Jesus saved me, brought me up and out of the miry clay. And He will bring me into His Kingdom called Heaven when I die. Hallelujah!
Years ago when I first became a believer in Jesus, I remember my mama, a Residential School survivor, screaming at me, calling me a traitor, and asking me why I chose a religion that hurt my people. The fact is, I didn’t choose a religion . . . I chose a way of life that healed my spirit. The religion I can do without, but I can’t do without Jesus.
Jesus presents believers with a great hope for the predicted End Times. We will escape the pouring-out of God’s wrath, Jesus said. He will rescue us so that we escape that wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:9-10; Luke 21:36; Revelation 3:10-11). We will be Snatched by God. Hallelujah! As “the end” becomes more and more clear to […]
Are you still so dull? What kind of fool are you – that you will not listen to the voice of God?
Are you tipping the scales to get what you want? Maybe using the wrong scales? “You are all wrong
because you know neither the Scriptures [which teach the resurrection] nor the power of God [for He is able to raise the dead].”
⇑ PIC: The DNA of Jesus must look similar to ours, but He is both God – and man. Jesus was born on earth – as all man, and all God – for all time. First time this has ever happened, and last time. As God, He took on the form of a man – […]
It was quite the mystery of the universe. Sin had destroyed the lovely Garden of Eden relationship Adam and Eve had with Creator God. So God established a “covenant of forgiveness”, a system of sacrifice whereby His followers could be forgiven.
But it was obvious that we on earth could not go on for all of eternity sacrificing lambs for the forgiveness of sins. What did God have in the works? It remained a mystery for centuries. And then, finally, according to His perfect timing, He revealed the answer.
So why on earth not? Why on earth NOT believe in Jesus – and follow Him closely, intensely, with all that you are? What else do you have going? What else on earth is worthy of choosing – above Jesus?
I am redeemed, but not with silver… I am bought, but not with gold… Bought with a price—the blood of Jesus.
The other day I read some Christian’s criticism, saying it was entirely ridiculous that someone (like me?) would think that voting a certain way could lead one to Hell. Well, lets stop right there. Think about it: Are you… Voting while set on God’s will, His values and His purposes? Does your voting matter – […]
We are all on a journey, a road trip of sorts — on the road to meet-up with our Creator God, the One True God, Jehovah God. Do you have everything ready to meet up with Him? Allow me to explain what’s up – down the road, according to what the Bible tells us. The […]
Regardless of race, color, or party affiliation… there is a certain percentage of professing Christians that vote against Jesus’ worldview. Every election. What is the “worldview” of Jesus, according to the Bible? Is Jesus’ worldview your worldview? Consider these biblical views: Voting Dichotomously, What Jesus Stands For, Which Jesus Do You Serve?, Following, Following Someone, […]
…an excerpt from the artice: The Christ, Jesus In the justice system of God’s Throne, humankind has been condemned eternally because we all fall short of His perfection. Because of that, in order for God to forgive any person, a provision had to be made for His justice to legally redeem any fallen person. Redemption […]
As in our centuries past, folks nowadays are loudly claiming to follow Jesus – but their actions and belief system unmask them as actually being against what Jesus Himself taught us in the Bible. Fakers. How fake is that? – to claim to be a follower of Jesus Christ, but actually be living a life […]
Just as His eye is on the sparrow, my God watches over me. (Luke 12:7) In times of trouble, such as with today’s events, Jesus is our answer. “Why worry, when you can pray.” Our “hope and confident expectation” at all times should be “committed and focused” on Jesus – in all that we are, […]
Do you realize Jesus claimed to be God? Look at the evidence. You’ll be amazed. I would think you would want to verify the claims of a man claiming to be God, right? I did. To me the claim is indisputable. God walked the earth – as Jesus. To see the truth to His claim, […]
When Jesus returns, He will establish a new order on earth. The dawning of a new order by God! The hope of the believer: “He will live among them” “…I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “See! The tabernacle of God is among men, and He will live among them, and they will […]
Starting with His birth as baby Jesus, born to Mary and Joseph, there are three biblical references to Jesus coming to earth – “in the name of Jesus” (as Christ, the Messiah). We believe there were other appearances, where God walked the earth, in the Old Testament, what are called “theophanies”, but those were never […]
Are you following a god made after your own understanding – or Creator God the One and Only? Are you making “god”? Would you like to die and find yourself kneeling before a different God than the one you had been following while on earth? God is calling us to Himself. Are you seeking God?
Seven “I am” statements of Jesus where He made it clear He claimed to be God – and Savior of all sinners who repent.
…a series on Jesus – with excerpts from each article [expanded and republished from March 7, 2017] What will you do with Jesus? …Jesus the Messiah sent by God Who is this Jesus? As creations by God on earth, it behooves us to read, hear, and heed what God Himself has revealed to us as […]
Most people believe there is a God. What about you? Who is your god? Is He truly the God of the Universe? Or, have you just sort of ended-up with this made-up creation of yours that you call “my God”? Or maybe you’ve allowed some other people to sort of lure you into their version of god? If I end up following some “god” of my own making – how stupid will that be in the end when I am face to face with the One who is really God?
John, the disciple of Jesus, wrote (Revelation 1 NASB). 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.“ *Text (verses 1-8) is provided below this article. *I recommend reading this passage also in the AMP version. As […]
