Are you fearful of death? What does the Bible tell us about it?
The culminating act of God to bring salvation to all who would believe and follow Him — was the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, the baby born in a manger, of Mary, “fathered” by God the Holy Spirit.
The New Testament shows us Jesus was the Christ. Want to be a believer? Read the Bible!
As Americans continue to loose their faith, it leads me to ask: Is your faith enough for Jesus?
Isn’t it astounding to consider that God Himself has revealed future events to special prophets. Does your faith allow you to believe that? Are you listening?
It’s rather easy to see “if we love Jesus less”. Have you looked into your soul lately? Salvation in Christ involves truly following Christ. To cherish platitudes, to parrot doctrines, to relish Christian fellowship, to love the feelings of worship and prayers to God, to serve Him – even to be nice… is not what God requires for salvation.
Are you open to having God reveal Himself to you? Or: Have you built your walls to shut Him out, refusing to hear-Him-out — stonewalling Him? Are you narrow-minded?
Entrance into God’s Home Heaven is going to be – Oh so very amazing! Wonderful! But getting there is difficult. Frankly, I doubt you ever will. What do you think?
“What’s in a name?” A “Jesus” who is not the Jesus of the New Testament, of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Paul… is not the Savior who saves us for all eternity. Be careful who you follow.
Believing “in the name…” means you believe in “all that Jesus Christ is and does”. Where are you at on this spectrum? Truly saved — almost but not — going to Hell for sure.
When you step into eternity, will you rest assured that you have eternal life? You can.
What is the joy of your Christmas this year?
What was the biggest prophecy of all time? Think about it.
Have you placed your faith in Jesus Christ? Have you asked Him to forgive you and accept you into His Kingdom? Does it matter – what you believe?
Jackson Browne sang “I have done all that I could – To see the evil and the good”. He sang “Better bring your own redemption when you come – To the barricades of Heaven where I’m from.” But, per the Bible only Jesus brings true redemption.
Ever wonder just how much God and His angels watch over you. Well, the Bible says Jesus watches over you very carefully.
There was a time when nobody knew the Gospel of Christ. It had not yet been revealed to us. It was a mystery all throughout the Old Testament eras. The culminating act of God to bring salvation to all who would believe and follow Jesus – was the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. The truths of God never change, for our God is unchanging. But just as the mystery of salvation was finally revealed, God is revealing, little by little, the mysteries of His prophetic words spoken by His prophets of old. Our understanding of “prophecy” – is ever increasing. God is releasing prophecies of old into realities of today. They are popping fast!
PIC: Peruvian Andean road circa 1950. Life is full of choices. You know? (Sometimes you don’t have a choice – like this only road over the Andes: Peruvian Andean road circa 1950.) We want the best choice – every time, right? We make a choice, choosing one over another – in order to have the […]
The main point of the Bible is that God came down to earth as Jesus – to be our God and Savior. Jesus, while on earth, was absolutely God-man.
There is no other saving gospel
What “gospel” are you into? The Bible says there is no other gospel that saves us for all eternity – except the original Gospel of the early church apostles. None. The great falling away from the faith, predicted by Paul, is happening right now in the form of Bethel and other NAR-related church doctrines.
Jesus is stronger and He wins in the end. And because I am in Christ I am stronger than all the enemies of my soul, and I win in the end. Jesus saved me, brought me up and out of the miry clay. And He will bring me into His Kingdom called Heaven when I die. Hallelujah!
Years ago when I first became a believer in Jesus, I remember my mama, a Residential School survivor, screaming at me, calling me a traitor, and asking me why I chose a religion that hurt my people. The fact is, I didn’t choose a religion . . . I chose a way of life that healed my spirit. The religion I can do without, but I can’t do without Jesus.
Jesus Himself presents believers with a great hope for the predicted End Times. He said we will escape the pouring-out of God’s wrath. He will rescue us so that we escape that damning wrath. We will be Snatched by God. Hallelujah!
Are you still so dull? What kind of fool are you – that you will not listen to the voice of God?
Are you tipping the scales to get what you want? Maybe using the wrong scales? “You are all wrong
because you know neither the Scriptures [which teach the resurrection] nor the power of God [for He is able to raise the dead].”
The DNA of Jesus must look similar to ours, but He is both God – and man. Jesus was born on earth – as all man, and all God – for all time. Jesus most certainly did NOT at anytime give up His divine nature, His “Godness”. He was divine throughout all of His 33 years living on earth as a man. Jesus was and is now: totally God, and totally man.
It was quite the mystery of the universe. Sin had destroyed the lovely Garden of Eden relationship Adam and Eve had with Creator God. So God established a “covenant of forgiveness”, a system of sacrifice whereby His followers could be forgiven.
But it was obvious that we on earth could not go on for all of eternity sacrificing lambs for the forgiveness of sins. What did God have in the works? It remained a mystery for centuries. And then, finally, according to His perfect timing, He revealed the answer.
So why on earth not? Why on earth NOT believe in Jesus – and follow Him closely, intensely, with all that you are? What else do you have going? What else on earth is worthy of choosing – above Jesus?
