I am so very, very concerned for you. Have you ever considered the possibility that YOU yourself will be turned-away by Jesus when you meet Him? Will Jesus say to you, “One thing you lack”, or, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me…’?
How far will you go to stay faithful to Jesus?
If you wanna get to Heaven – got to walk with Jesus. Who you walking with?
Passing on through to the other side
Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of His saints. – Psalm 116:15 KJV Passing away Passing on through to the other side is a solemn time. This life dims. We leave it behind. For the last time we experience living “in time”, as it is then that we all go to […]
Hell will have degrees of punishment
Hell will have degrees of punishment. But there, any degree is worse than bad.
Getting to Heaven is not a religious thing
I am frightened by the standard set by God for entrance into His Kingdom. “Few there be that find it….” It is no small thing to be forgiven by God, accepted by God, made a child of God, to finally become a member of God’s family. Salvation by Almighty God is done by Him as we give Him our all. If we do not respond by a life given-over completely to Him, then we are fooling ourselves. We are still damned all to Hell.
Curses, evil spells and being jinxed
True believers are protected by God Almighty. Need we then be afraid, you think? If we are true to Him, trials and tribulations will very likely come upon us. Curses may fly, spells cast around us. But through it all, whatever happens, our hope is steadfast in Him. We are more than Conquerors in Christ. I say, “Fear not!”
Feeling Lucky?
Amazing these puny humans thinking they will call the shots in the afterlife! What are they thinking?
Nancy’s careless and unworthy participation in communion
God notices when we dare to celebrate His most holy death – yet stand there actively into sin, keeping sin… dissing Him with our hypocrisy. Do you know His Word enough to realize His displeasure is a clear and present danger – there at “communion”?
Born of God
…what happens when you are born again, when you are reborn from above Born Again You must die to yourself, and then be reborn – like a grain of wheat dies, to be born again to new life. Jesus said this clearly in John 3: “You must be born again.” verse 3 John 12:24 I […]
Faking It
Jesus warned us not to be dishonest with Him. You can NOT fake it with God. He knows your heart. You must be genuinely born again.
I’ve got that joy
I’ve got that joy. Do “you greatly rejoice”, and “delight with inexpressible and glorious joy”? You can. But “you must be born again” (Jesus said).
I run to win! Christ did. Do you?
What is due to Jesus, because of what He has done for you? He died for you, for me, for all sinners alike. So – what should be our response to Him?
The Gift by His Precious, Undeserved Grace
Oh how marvelous – His grace towards us, sinners all. When it comes to repentance for salvation – Jesus is all inclusive. He will accept any truly repentant sinner of any vile stripe. You name it, He will forgive. But His is a limited grace. Don’t try to squeeze-by in His courts of justice.
My Pact with God
In recognition of God as my Creator, my Father in Heaven, in affirmation of my relationship to Him as His born again child, I hereby make the following statements as “My Pact with God”
Seeing change in your heart
Are you seeing change in your heart – since you “became a Christian”? We absolutely will see change towards godliness in our life… when the Holy Spirit enters into us. God can accept all your most heinous of sins. He’s got all of it covered by His death on our behalf. So the problem is […]
I didn’t choose a religion . . . I chose a way of life that healed my spirit
Years ago when I first became a believer in Jesus, I remember my mama, a Residential School survivor, screaming at me, calling me a traitor, and asking me why I chose a religion that hurt my people. The fact is, I didn’t choose a religion . . . I chose a way of life that healed my spirit. The religion I can do without, but I can’t do without Jesus.
What is necessary to be saved
Folks! You can NOT fake it with God. He knows your heart. Faking = Still lost. You can talk like/smell like/pray like/look like/act like/dress like/preach like/give money like/claim church membership like/go to church like… but if your heart is not genuinely His, “with all your heart…”, then you are not saved. You are a God damned “believer”. ‘You must be born again.’
Thief On The Cross
Thief On The Cross. Nothing religious was done by the thief. He merely (1) confessed his sinfulness, and (2) acknowledged Jesus as “the Christ”.
We know what Jesus believes. Do you agree with Him?
It was quite the mystery of the universe. Sin had destroyed the lovely Garden of Eden relationship Adam and Eve had with Creator God. So God established a “covenant of forgiveness”, a system of sacrifice whereby His followers could be forgiven.
But it was obvious that we on earth could not go on for all of eternity sacrificing lambs for the forgiveness of sins. What did God have in the works? It remained a mystery for centuries. And then, finally, according to His perfect timing, He revealed the answer.
What a privilege God gives us
It cost God to make us His children of privilege. Jesus made this privilege possible for all who come to Him – not just to some, but to all peoples. Some do reject Him (Hebrews 4:6). Their choice. It is a choice, to receive Him or not. Have you accepted salvation in Christ?
Living between two opinions
1 Kings 18:21 “Elijah approached all the people and said, “How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal [is God], follow him.” Now is the time to speak up, answer, share your faith, tell the truth. With evil right in front of our eyes, around […]
At death – we put on immortality
In God’s Home Heaven, we who followed Jesus on earth — will all be truly INVINCIBLE, living in incorruptible, immortal bodies – like Jesus had when He was resurrected. v50 “Now I say this, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God….”
Jesus warned us not to be dishonest with Him
Your Lifestyle… is what you do day in and day out. Jesus warned us to not be dishonest with Him. Read: Sincerity and Truth 1. If you choose to accept Jesus as your Savior, then follow Him with all that you are. Following Him is the natural thing to do — if you were actually […]
Following Jesus is not fascism
Jesus was not a fascist, and neither are His followers. Of course some fakes, the fake faith so-called Christian types may be whatever catches their fancy, but not any genuine Christian (absolutely none). Christian theology and practice in America today is somewhere very far from the fascism spectrum. This should be obvious to the world, […]
Re-starting life
Ever felt that “impending doom” when your computer suddenly got a black screen!? Ever call on The Computer Guy to reset? I remember those days. Turning to God is like re-starting. It’s like punching “Reset”. Immediately what’s “current” disappears, and I start over brand new, with no pending doom. Turning to God is – accepting […]
Take Jesus’ Challenge
What is your response to this challenge from the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Here is the challenge:
1 John 3:9
1 John 3:9 No one who is born of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, because God’s seed [His principle of life, the essence of His righteous character] remains [permanently] in him [who is born again —who is reborn from above —spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose]; and he [who is […]
Agreeing with God
Salvation is one sinner agreeing with God. No holding back.
The Fool Says
So, what kind of fool are you…? Remember the popular song saying this? “What kind of fool do you think I am?”
Oh How Marvelous
Marvelous grace. To a sinner, what else could be so marvelous? God’s grace, that “un-merited” bestowing of a blessing on me. Just because of Him. Just because He chooses to do so within His Heavenly legal system.
