“What man can live and not see death?” (Psalm 89:48) Death is quite the non-respecter of peoples. We die. That’s it, for earth time. Done. Finito. But there is One who has had victory over death.
…what happens when you are born again, when you are reborn from above Born Again You must die to yourself, and then be reborn – like a grain of wheat dies, to be born again to new life. Jesus said this clearly in John 3: “You must be born again.” verse 3 John 12:24 I […]
We all have a sin problem. Some have dealt with it with God. Others have dealt with it by their own thinking and rationalizations. What have you done with your sin problem?
We are warned by the Apostle Paul and Matthew about the days when many will practice religion to look good, but inwardly… they are “full of dead men’s bones and everything unclean.” This you? Matthew 23:27
Have you so, so wanted “the miraculous”, that you swallowed the whole lie, hook, line, and sinker… the ultimate Bethel Bill deception of following a Jesus who was not God? Scary thought.
When you step into eternity, will you rest assured that you have eternal life? You can.
If we genuinely have this hope within us, we will be actively cooperating with the Spirit of God to become purified. You that?
What was the biggest prophecy of all time? Think about it.
Have you placed your faith in Jesus Christ? Have you asked Him to forgive you and accept you into His Kingdom? Does it matter – what you believe?
There are only two types of humans on earth. You really really want to be the type who sincerely and truthfully accepts Christ, the one who endures all the way.
Jackson Browne sang “I have done all that I could – To see the evil and the good”. He sang “Better bring your own redemption when you come – To the barricades of Heaven where I’m from.” But, per the Bible only Jesus brings true redemption.
There was a time when nobody knew the Gospel of Christ. It had not yet been revealed to us. It was a mystery all throughout the Old Testament eras. The culminating act of God to bring salvation to all who would believe and follow Jesus – was the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. The truths of God never change, for our God is unchanging. But just as the mystery of salvation was finally revealed, God is revealing, little by little, the mysteries of His prophetic words spoken by His prophets of old. Our understanding of “prophecy” – is ever increasing. God is releasing prophecies of old into realities of today. They are popping fast!
The other day a man walked through the door of a bar in the countryside. I could see where his heart was, deep inside him, because a well-beaten path led back to his own door. His heart was bare open, plain to see. Our hearts are laid bare open by …the evidences smeared all over the course of our life.
Jesus warned us not to be dishonest with Him. You can NOT fake it with God. He knows your heart. You must be genuinely born again.
There comes a time to stand for Jesus, or deny Jesus. Are you sold-out to Jesus? Jesus made so very clear which sides of issues are His Ways. To not follow His Ways, is equal to not following Him. Ready to meet your Maker, Jesus the Messiah?
What epistle are you “writing” with your life – this moment, this day, this month… as you march to your ending moment? We all, followers of Jesus, have been commissioned as Ambassadors to represent Jesus on earth. How is that going for you?
PIC: Peruvian Andean road circa 1950. Life is full of choices. You know? (Sometimes you don’t have a choice – like this only road over the Andes: Peruvian Andean road circa 1950.) We want the best choice – every time, right? We make a choice, choosing one over another – in order to have the […]
There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. – Romans 8:1,37-39
Jesus spoke this to Paul on the road to Damascus – one short verse that explains the Gospel of salvation in Jesus, in Acts 26:18.
There is no other saving gospel
What “gospel” are you into? The Bible says there is no other gospel that saves us for all eternity – except the original Gospel of the early church apostles. None. The great falling away from the faith, predicted by Paul, is happening right now in the form of Bethel and other NAR-related church doctrines.
I for one do not want to arrive in God’s Courts with filthy rags on, stinking of sin – before the God of the Universe. How ’bout you? Do you wear filthy robes – or have you been beautified with rich robes of forgiveness? God is able to take away all your past sinfulness — and place you in good standing with Him. No matter how grave your sin, no matter how long you sinned, no matter. No problem. He is able.
Key truths about sin as taught in the Bible.
There is nothing more pressing, nothing more important at any time in your life – than to “be right with Christ”.
Christ secured our eternal home. Jesus paid it all – so we could be forgiven of all these sins, all our past, all that separates us from The Most Holy God. What’s not covered? He’s got it all covered, penalty paid. We just need to humbly get together with Him and plead His grace upon us.
The reality for us now is “Christ has in fact been raised from the dead”. The mystery of the Gospel has been revealed – and fulfilled by the Messiah
Oh how marvelous – His grace towards us, sinners all. When it comes to repentance for salvation – Jesus is all inclusive. He will accept any truly repentant sinner of any vile stripe. You name it, He will forgive. But His is a limited grace. Don’t try to squeeze-by in His courts of justice.
Are you seeing change in your heart – since you “became a Christian”? We absolutely will see change towards godliness in our life… when the Holy Spirit enters into us. God can accept all your most heinous of sins. He’s got all of it covered by His death on our behalf. So the problem is […]
Reading the tiny book of Jude we see how desperately lost people are without Christ. It is no small matter, rejecting the soul-cleansing power of salvation in Christ. You think you are just fine, hunky-dory? Have you considered how God sees you?
Jesus came to die for us (John 3:16-21). But He was also a prophet. Jesus predicted the destruction of Jerusalem (which did happen in 70 AD). He also speaks of the end times of the earth.
