Is Jesus’ worldview your worldview?

September 4, 2020 by Keith Swift Leave a Comment

The Dems are not the Dems of yesteryear…

Jesus shared His worldview throughout the entire Bible.  Yes, in the Old Testament also, since God inspired it, and Jesus is God, afterall.  So we know what Jesus believes.  Just read the Bible with open eyes.

The “worldview” of Jesus is discernable by examining the Bible.  Jesus’ quoted words are in the New Testament, but God also inspired the Old Testament, and, since Jesus is God – Jesus’ worldview is found throughout the whole Bible.  – Source:  Are you one of the 18 percenters?

Then the question must be asked: Is Jesus’ worldview – your worldview? Actually?

Where is your belief in Jesus?

If your heart follows to the beat of
a different drum
than what the band of Jesus marches to;
if how you see the world
is not how Jesus see’s the world;
if you are FOR
what Jesus is AGAINST
…
where is your belief in Jesus?

Can you honestly be following Jesus – if your worldview is opposed to Jesus’ worldview?  I’d say not.  Not according to Jesus.

Inside your insides, streaming from your soul – there is something “off”, somehow akilter, if you sit in a pew and also expouse liberal agendas of the radical left in Amerca today (Sept/2020).

With today’s evil agendas out there, it should be quite obvious to a true Christian that one cannot be a true born again Christian – and also be a far left Democrat.  The Far Left want anything BUT to follow Jesus, and the Dems are being led by the Far Left.  The Dems are not the Dems of yesteryear.  Get real.

“Only 6% of Christians
now hold to a biblical worldview
according to Barna,
while 88% of Christians
borrow from contradictory worldviews
for their beliefs.”
– Jan Markell: I Never Thought I Would See the Day

Truly Following Jesus
We’re not talking about politics here – but rather “following Jesus” or “not following Jesus“.  God only accepts true followers.  I am very afraid. Very. Very afraid for fellow church-goers, even some of my friends from of old… because I fear the door to Jesus may be closed to them on that day:

(v25) “…Once the head of the house gets up and closes the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door [again and again], saying, ‘Lord, open to us!’ then He will answer you, ‘I do not know where you are from [for you are not of My household].’….”  – Luke 13:22-30

Consider these biblical views:

Voting Dichotomously, What Jesus Stands For, Which Jesus Do You Serve?, Following, Following Someone, Exposing a dichotomous heart, One Thing You Lack, Reconsider Your Life, A God Damn …

Double-Minded… is loving Jesus and a different gospel

“Love of the world, when it is a part of the thinking of a professing Christian: …involves being “in agreement with” two diametrically opposing sides: loving Jesus, AND also holding to and defending “the world” to which Jesus has expressed opposition.”

“The part he leaves to us is the issue of your choosing sides.  Have you truly chosen Him, committed to Him alone?  God is asking you to repent of it all.  Truly choose Him alone. You can’t have it all: Jesus, and… the world, the flesh, the Devil.  Ain’t happenin’.  God’s grace is limited.”

Got a halo – from Jesus? …or just said, “Okay Jesus”?

Salvation in Christ is not a willy-nilly “free for all” gift bin.  You can’t just say “Okay Jesus”.  The Gospel of Christ is not a “come one, come all” offer by God.  You must be born again.

Scripture does not say “Whosoever wants to say a little prayer… may come and be saved.  Oh! And then go and live however you want to.”  No.

God will not be mocked.  He knows your heart intimately.  In other words, come Judgement Day, God will not accept phoney baloney “professing believers” who really are not bowing their knees to Him.

Question the record
We just witnessed the 2020 DNC.  A reaction from a Hollywood Actress, and #MeToo activist liberal questions the record of liberals on much of the Dems record:

Pro-Trump she’s not, but actress Rose McGowan had no love for Democrats, either, at the close of their national convention last week. “What have the Democrats done to solve ANYTHING?” she tweeted. “Help the poor? No. Help black & brown people? No. Stop police brutality? No. Help single mothers? No. Help children? No. You have achieved nothing. NOTHING.” – Source: Breaking ranks with Hollywood; by Collin Garbarino  Posted 8/25/20, 10:46 am

Follow Jesus with all of you– your politics included

It is impossible to separate your political views from your biblical views.  Jesus and the Bible both go with you, or not, when you enter politics.  Is He not in your politics?

So look at what your politics support. What will your vote support this November? What is behind the nice platitudes? One Party is :

  • Advancing the agendas of: Pro-Abortion, Pro-Homosexual Marriage, Pro-Homosexual Rights, Pro-Transgender Rights….
  • Allowing riots and looting within the cities under their control
  • Being yanked around by the far left.

“The world wants everyone to be intellectually willy-nilly and have a worldview characterized by, “It’s all good.”  The big scheme of the Evil One is: be accepting of all beliefs (the new “tolerant”).  Their intolerant one exception: don’t accept Christian thought….”

Christians, standing out from the crowded world, are to be discerning and put things to the test of God’s ways. (See: Conflicts Because of Opinion)….

Berean type peoples want to carefully examine beliefs and statements and sermons all the time. They maintain a mind that is open to examination of what they are told. They don’t just accept the authority of the person or of the religion, but – they put it to the test of Scripture.  They ask: What does Scripture teach about this?  Is what they are saying – true to Scripture, or not?

….Some wrongly call this Berean type thinking as “‘criticisms’ from a person with a ‘critical spirit’”.  They in effect are condemning “reasoning, explaining, and evidence”.  Come on!  Discern the difference.  Follow the example of Paul, and be discerning.  Don’t be a dumbass lamb!  Don’t be overcome by the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18).

The Dems are not the Dems of yesteryear
Have you read what the far left Democrats want to do to America?  This is not the Democrat Party you joined years ago. The Dems are not the Dems of yesteryear. Are you still with them, even now!?

The world has changed.  Political agendas have morphed.  Are you still thinking that “to be a Democrat” is like it was before?  Get real.

The Dems don’t even want fair and objective coverage of the news in our country – only wishing to push their viewpoint.

Dr. Jim Denison wrote, “A writer for the Columbia Journalism Review made an impassioned argument last December [2019] against “bothsidesism,” the journalist philosophy that “both sides” of a story should be covered objectively and fairly. Seems they do not want to hear the truth at all.”

It’s like what happened to some ancient Egyptian rulers.  They caught stupiditis:

The princes of Zoan are complete fools; [b Or Tanis, an ancient capital of the Pharaohs.]
The counsel of the Pharaoh’s wisest advisors has become stupid.
How can you say to Pharaoh,
“I am a son of the wise, a son of ancient kings?”  – Isaiah 19:11-13

Causes outside Jesus’ worldview… per biblical principles.

The Democrat Party pushes all these “causes that evangelical Christians oppose on biblical grounds”:

    • abortion on demand,
    • premarital [sex] and
    • extramarital sex,
    • same-sex [sex ]and
    • polyamorous marriage,
    • gender fluidity,
    • transgender locker rooms and sports participation,
    • acceptance of pornography,
    • euthanasia, and the list goes on.

“To speak biblical truth to these behaviors –  is to be branded [by Democrats and the media] as “intolerant,” which is the cardinal sin of our culture.”

-Source:  Why Bari Weiss’ resignation from the New York Times matters to evangelicals and to American culture; By Dr. Jim Denison Posted July 17, 2020

The Bari Weiss “orthodoxy” (as Jim Denison describes it) is not a complete list. Other issues affecting America should be concerning, like this one:

    • eliminating the filibuster (Tucker Carlson: “The filibuster is an obstacle in Dems’ path to total control. That’s why they want it gone.” “…Last month, The Atlantic magazine denounced the filibuster as “another monument to white supremacy.” SEN. CHUCK SCHUMER, D-N.Y.: “Job number one is for us to get the majority. We don’t take anything for granted, but it’s looking better and better. And once we get the majority, we’ll discuss it [eliminating the filibuster] in our caucus. Nothing’s off the table.”)

All of these “causes” are pushed and supported by… you guessed it — the Democrat Party, it’s elected officials, and it’s appointed officials:  Senators, Assembly members, Supreme Court Justices, circuit judges, Governors (and officials they appoint), DAs (and officials they appoint), Mayors (and officials they appoint).

You kind of get the picture.  Democrat leaders are pushing America further and further to the Left, away from the worldview of our Savior, Jesus the Christ.  Is this the direction you want America to go? Voting Americans put these leaders in positions of power.

Vote your principles.  Your vote really truly counts this year. Followers of Jesus need to be very wise, discerning – and vote within Jesus’ worldview. Get rid of any Zoan stupiditis. The Devil’s agenda is to get us conforming to the world, following his agendas.  Don’t morph for Satan.

In these End Times, the world is not getting better.  It is growing more and more, and more and more evil, and more unwise.

13 But evil men and impostors
will go on from bad to worse,
deceiving and being deceived.
– 2 Timothy 3:13

They “suppress and stifle the truth” (See v18 of Romans 1:18-32) and “…they became worthless in their thinking [godless, with pointless reasonings, and silly speculations], and their foolish heart was darkened” and “22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools….” (Romans 1:21-22)  Sounds like [the Democrat Party and] fake news media to me.

Who else can win against the Democrat juggernaut force of these end times?  Love them or hate them, the only other option is Trump and the Republican Party.  Get real.

Bentley – News on Todd Bentley

The charismatic movement has been troubled by unbiblical practices and teachings. I am amazed at how folks are so easily mislead. “Many have exchanged the truth for a lie and chosen experience over content.” Look and examine and see, and compare with what the Bible teaches.

Inexplicable Joy

Heaven is a joyful place. That is hard for me to imagine… Everywhere I look around me, I see so many problems, issues and unresolved conflicts. But in heaven, they won’t exist anymore. There will only be joy because my sins have been paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ.  One of the main things that describes being in heaven is JOY. Letter to Danny

We are continually bombarded by the fiery darts of the Evil One.  And when these little pricks hit us, we need to put-out the flames, quickly. About Biblical Inerrancy

Would God give us erroneous documents and call them “His”? Dumb idea! God brought everything together to form the Bible. Evidence is overpowering as you read what the Bible is, and what it tells us. “It is the history of the Bible that makes it unique among ‘sacred texts.’ See who wrote the Bible, how its reportive style is backed by archeology and historians…” – Quote from “Why You Can Believe the Bible” (www.everystudent.com).

God can do anything He decides to do

Long ago “and far away” God decided how things were going to be. Are you down with that? God is asking you to repent and join Him – forever.

Got a Cracked Heart?

Was your “decision” for Christ way long ago made with a “cracked heart”. Have you examined yourself lately (2 Corinthians 13:5)?

Jesus said, “Good answer! Do it and you’ll live.”

“What do I need to do to get eternal life?” He [Jesus] answered, “What’s written in God’s Law?

Take a Stance on Homosexuality – like Jesus did

Anything contrary to God’s expressed will has to be carefully avoided. Homosexuality, for example, is pushed nowadays as “okay by God”.  But actually, it is listed in the Bible right beside many other practices that are not pleasing to God. Temptation towards any sin is NOT sinful. But, if we practice a sin, then we deny Christ. Want to please God in all you do?
