Life is short. We are “like the morning mist, and like the dew that passes away early, like the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of the threshing floor, and like the smoke out of the chimney” (Hosea 13:3). Only Jesus changes that. Jesus makes us eternally significant.
I am frightened by the standard set by God for entrance into His Kingdom. “Few there be that find it….” It is no small thing to be forgiven by God, accepted by God, made a child of God, to finally become a member of God’s family. Salvation by Almighty God is done by Him as we give Him our all. If we do not respond by a life given-over completely to Him, then we are fooling ourselves. We are still damned all to Hell.
True believers are protected by God Almighty. Need we then be afraid, you think? If we are true to Him, trials and tribulations will very likely come upon us. Curses may fly, spells cast around us. But through it all, whatever happens, our hope is steadfast in Him. We are more than Conquerors in Christ. I say, “Fear not!”
Whatever it is that you’ve got troubling you, “He’s got this!” When I find myself in times of trouble, I turn to Jesus.
The Lord may choose to lead us into purposes we now know not of. We may follow Him right into blessings we never thought of. Ready for that?
God notices when we dare to celebrate His most holy death – yet stand there actively into sin, keeping sin… dissing Him with our hypocrisy. Do you know His Word enough to realize His displeasure is a clear and present danger – there at “communion”?
Was Jesus actually God? Or was He just a mere man like you and me? That is a question we must decide upon.
The way God specifically created you – makes you unique. You are “one of a kind”.
Down through the ages God has clearly shown to us: what we humans do – can offend Him greatly. These (following examples) are real life historical events for us to learn from. The Bible clearly states that these following dramatic events were actions by God – because of His great displeasure.
I fear no evil because “Even though I walk through the [sunless] valley of the shadow of death [a valley of deep darkness]… You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort and console me. – Psalm 23:4
Ever wonder just how much God and His angels watch over you. Well, the Bible says Jesus watches over you very carefully.
What do you do with the sins of your past? Paul says, I am continually, consciousely, purposely forgetting all those things of my past, what is behind me. I leave them back there, behind me. And now — I press on.
Life is full of choices. You know? The biggest choice we all make, one way or another, is: Are you going with God?
We are surely in a wild and confusing age. The world seems to be caught-up in a whirlwind of evil, totally out of control. But the reality is: God Himself is the real controller.
It really IS quite plain to see: this world and all of us creatures – could not possibly ever have come to be – without an intelligent designer, God, making us. Don’t be such a doofus!
The main point of the Bible is that God came down to earth as Jesus – to be our God and Savior. Jesus, while on earth, was absolutely God-man.
Have you ever in your life “approached” God? God has spoken into this world through His Word, the Bible. We know God by reading/studying… the Bible. In it He informed us about Himself, long ago, and now, today, He informs us as we read it — that He is approachable. He is the One (in three: the divine Trinity). All other “gods” are not His equal, nor truly any “God”.
PIC by JandamPhotography: Waiting expectantly for your Master Jesus is returning to earth soon. Believe it? Are you ready to meet your Maker? Are you truly following Jesus, waiting expectantly for Savior Jesus – Master of the Universe? He wants to take us all to His Home, Heaven. It behooves us who are following Him […]
I can always find something to make me unhappy. Never failed me yet – this unhappy thing. As they say, “If it’s not one thing, it’s another.” It can always make me unhappy.
Scenario: God Almighty “interviews” Don Lemon. Scene One: Don Lemon is kneeling before the Judge of All. Here’s the imaginary dialog on That Day of Judgement.
God made a book. A list of names. Is your name written in The Book of the Living? 33 But the Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book…. – Verse 33 of Exodus 32:32-33; Also see: Psalm 69:28 See Bible references here: The Book of Life […]
For those of us who have a heart 100% given-over to Jesus – it is natural to “fear” God, in the sense of: we have a heart full of “awe-filled reverence”. We are full of respect for God, and thus we lift up His name in awe – through song, prayer, and conversation (“spoke to […]
Jesus is inviting you to come into His Kingdom. Forever! Imagine how exotic and opulent – His Place? Is that exciting – or what!? I’m looking for that! Have you visited Jesus, like the rich young ruler, and blindly held-on to your ways in the midst of all your religiosities? It is a fearful thing to consider being rejected by a damning God. How far would you go to NOT be God-damned?
“The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And the expanse [of heaven] is declaring the work of His hands.” – Psalm 19

So, what kind of fool are you…? Remember the popular song saying this? “What kind of fool do you think I am?”
I think. You think. We all think. But, what does God think? Thinking is necessary. But what if your “think” is not God’s “think”? Then your “think” will end so very badly when you reach That Day of Judgement, quivering before God in the realization that it is His Think that rules the heavens, not yours. Read about God’s “think”. What you think – matters. How you act it out – matters more. It will seal your eternity – with Him, or without Him.
Have you ever traced back your God to the origins of your faith? Have you tried to learn more about the founder of your faith… who he is, what was his life like? Are you okay with the origins of your faith? What does your religion do for you? Does your religion satisfy you? Do […]
The truths of Scripture, the life of Christ, the discoveries of science – all should combine to lift us heavenward. Yet we remain strangely anxious. Our days are swamped by the mundane; our nights are swallowed by insomnia. Seldom do we know true restedness. Yet God would tell us, “Be still before me; wait patiently. Trust in me, and I will give you rest.”
