– Anonymous Quote in reference to the Charlottesville violence – by both sides, violent white supremists and violent protesters against their racism…
How ’bout this perspective – for us in the USA today? Maybe we all should try greeting each other in love?
If you greet only your brothers,
what more are you doing
than others?
Do not even the Gentiles do the same?
– Matthew 5:47
what more are you doing
than others?
Do not even the Gentiles do the same?
– Matthew 5:47
The Christian perspective is very clear. Wow! See this list of verses just like these:
with all humility and gentleness,
with patience,
showing tolerance for one another
in love
– Ephesians 4:2
with patience,
showing tolerance for one another
in love
– Ephesians 4:2
Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another,
because love covers a multitude of sins.
– 1 Peter 4:8
because love covers a multitude of sins.
– 1 Peter 4:8
It seems a few hundred in America are acting-out in hate and violence. And an awful lot of the media want to project their own perspectives – and make us think this is “American”. Booo to that! Let’s be forgiving and tolerant, loving!
A new commandment I give to you,
that you love one another,
even as I have loved you,
that you also love one another.
– John 13:34
that you love one another,
even as I have loved you,
that you also love one another.
– John 13:34
By this all men will know that you are My disciples,
if you have love for one another.”
– John 13:35
if you have love for one another.”
– John 13:35
For if you forgive others
for their transgressions,
your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
– Matthew 6:14
for their transgressions,
your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
– Matthew 6:14
But
if you do not
forgive others,
then your Father will not
forgive your transgressions.
– Matthew 6:15
if you do not
forgive others,
then your Father will not
forgive your transgressions.
– Matthew 6:15
Let’s not allow the media to overlook, annul love. A misled few in America are overlooking (annuling) love. Know that God rewards loving instead of condemning!
Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments,
and teaches others to do the same,
shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven;
but whoever keeps and teaches them,
he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
– Matthew 5:19
and teaches others to do the same,
shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven;
but whoever keeps and teaches them,
he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
– Matthew 5:19
