Have you been made viable for Heaven? 1
Just like a human fetus is viable upon conception, ready to launch into living as a human, we can become viable for Heaven – by becoming “born again“. Believing in the name of Jesus makes us viable. Through new life in Christ – we become viable for Heaven. Ever thought of that?
God is asking all peoples to repent. Until we do, we are not viable for Heaven.
Heaven is the Holy Home of our Holy God. How could He allow sinfulness there? Not a chance. He absolutely requires that our sinfulness be taken away before entering. Only Jesus can do that for us.
“As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.”
– Psalm 103:12
When we first believed
1 Corinthians 6:11 lays-out what God did to each of us at that moment in time when we first believed.
11 And such were some of you [before you believed]. But you were washed [by the atoning sacrifice of Christ], you were sanctified [set apart for God, and made holy], you were justified [declared free of guilt] in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit of our God [the source of the believer’s new life and changed behavior].
Wow! God accomplished such very specific acts on our behalf – thus making us viable for His Holy Kingdom. Have you been made “viable”?
God’s Fantastic Home – for those who follow Him
