“…and then the end.” – Jesus in Matthew 24:14
All Scripture
God tells us, by way of the Apostle Paul in the New Testament (NT):
“All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction….” – 2 Timothy 3:16
Since the early times beginning with Jesus’ early church, Paul’s reference to “all Scripture” has meant both the Old T and New T. God was inspiring more Words from Him after Jesus’ resurrection – giving inspiration to His disciples and a few other eyewitness apostles.
The Jews of today
In Deuteronomy 4:1 God was, in effect, calling the Jews of today to return to what He told them in those ancient days.
“Now, O Israel, listen and pay attention to the statutes and the judgments (God’s legal decisions) which I am teaching you to do, so that you may live and go in and take possession of the land which the Lord, the God of your fathers, is giving you. – Deuteronomy 4:1
The Old Testament passage in Deuteronomy 4:23-49 warned the Jews then not to disobey Him, or disaster would follow. But they did fail Him. And disaster did follow them. And AD70 made them “scatter and disperse“:
verse 27 The Lord will scatter and disperse you among the peoples (pagan nations), and you will be left few in number among the nations where the Lord drives you.
See: Deuteronomy 4:26-28
After the intervening years
Now, after all the intervening years (70AD – 1948), God has brought back Israel as a nation as He predicted. Troubles are brewing today, but He is at work and is with Israel in these times.
And He will soon bring about what He also predicted — that many Jews will return to His Ways “in the latter days”.
29 But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.
30 When you are in distress and tribulation and all these things come on you, in the latter days you will return to the Lord your God and listen to His voice.
31 For the Lord your God is a merciful and compassionate God; He will not fail you, nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant with your fathers which He swore to them.
Look up
28 Now when these things begin to occur, stand tall and lift up your heads [in joy], because [suffering ends as] your redemption is drawing near.”

1 Peter 3:12
“For the eyes of the Lord are [looking favorably] upon the righteous (the upright), And His ears are attentive to their prayer (eager to answer), But the face of the Lord is against those who practice evil.”
Jesus volunteered to give us signs that would usher in the end times
“Your redemption is drawing near”… consider periods shown in Scripture that could very possibly point to when the Rapture might take place. These three OT events are yet to happen….
