Do you know Him?
We love simple pleasures. Don’t we? Life is good. God is good. The problem with pleasure is: Not all pleasure is of God. Jesus said we need to clean our insides – so that our outsides can then live-out worthy behavior. Pick a sin – any sin – and discern where you are at. Judge yourself all day long. Romans 12:2.
We have an obligation to our Savior — to live for Him in all things. How’s that going for you? There are great rewards coming for those who are faithful to the core.
To be wrong with Jesus is the worst. You can’t be in a worse position with God. It matters. You will never be happy in that state. So think about it.
Issues found in the public square affect our life and our faith. Do you know what they are? What would Jesus say? I think He is saying, “…let us not love [merely in theory]… but in action and in truth…” (1 John 3:18).
Religion only offends if it threatens physical harm or restrains your free speech. Do you not have beliefs also, like I have my faith in Jesus?
