Are you in, or, are you out? Are you on the inside, or outside? It’s a choice. Go one way or go another.
“Choose for yourselves today whom you will serve.” (Joshua 24:15)
For the word of the cross
is foolishness
to those who [a]are perishing,
but to us who [b]are being saved
it is the power of God.
1 Corinthians 1:18
You are either in, or you are out. Scripture puts it this way: you are either of “those who are perishing”, or you are one of those “who are being saved”. You are either in a condition of “perishing”, or you are in a state of “being saved”.
The cross of Christ is the power of God that makes it possible for Him to save us. There is no guessing involved, no doubt about it, no sitting on the fence. “You is o’ you ain’t.” Paul the Apostle said in 1 John 5:13,
These things I have written
to you who believe
in the name of the Son of God,
so that you may
know
that you have eternal life.
Today is the day of decision. Tomorrow may not be yours. Choose life in Christ before it is too late. Then it can be said by you:
19 We know that we are of God,
and that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.
20 And we know that the Son of God has come,
and has given us understanding
so that we may know Him who is true;
and we are in Him who is true,
in His Son Jesus Christ.
This
is
the true God and eternal life.
