All of us have had the Word of God sown in our heart. All of us, Mark 4:14-20 tells us. Even Stalin, Hitler, Putin and Soros…. Remember that seed being planted in you…over the years?
My hope is that you are of the 4th type, the last group, the lucky ones. They of course are the only group who will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. The others, Scripture warns – will not, ever. Very scary, that. See: The “you will never enter” warning passages in Scripture.
Some Whosoever People
Are you feeling lucky? Or are you actually one of those who “will never enter”? Most scary thought.
Oh horror of horrors. Are you one of the Whosoever People who miss the turn – to Jesus?
You can still “Turn from – Turn to“…Jesus. Be a “whosoever” person who willed it to be and repented. I did. Jesus saved me.
The resistance is in your heart. Allow God to turn it.
“The sower sows the word of God,
the good news regarding the way of salvation.”
_______
Let’s look into
The four soils sowed
of Mark 4:14-20
_________
First group
15 These [in the first group] are the ones along the road where the word is sown; but when they hear, Satan immediately comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them.
Along the road, some hear about Jesus. But what they heard is immediately stolen away by Satan the Deceiver. Nothing ever grows from that seed sown. Beware. Maybe this is your group.
Second group
16 In a similar way these [in the second group] are the ones on whom seed was sown on rocky ground, who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with joy [but accept it only superficially]; 17 and they have no real root in themselves, so they endure only for a little while; then, when trouble or persecution comes because of the word, immediately they [are offended and displeased at being associated with Me and] stumble and fall away.
Along the road in rocky ground, those who hear the good news of salvation “immediately receive it with joy [but accept it only superficially]“. They say, “Yes! I like this. Love what this group of loving Christians are experiencing.”
This group most definitely should not count on “once saved always saved”. They grasp onto that, because they “immediately receive it with joy“, but: None were ever saved in the first place. What a nasty turn of events coming for them.
Interesting that they are so easily “offended and displeased at being associated with Me“. Sounds like a lot of so-called “people of faith“. Near it, in the mix, but – fell short.
Jude 1:4
For certain people have crept in unnoticed [just as if they were sneaking in by a side door]. They are ungodly persons whose condemnation was predicted long ago, for they distort the grace of our God into decadence and immoral freedom [viewing it as an opportunity to do whatever they want], and deny and disown our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
This passage does not say this second group was saved and then lost their salvation. They were near it, but were never saved. They are the Hebrews 6:4-6 type. They really really liked it, and tasted it! But it was superficial verse 16.
They became enlightened, tasted Christian faith, tasted the heavenly gift in their meetings, were “made partakers of the Holy Spirit” in the sense of participating with and feeling the palpatating faith of others around them, tasted how great the Word of God really was from the sermons, and felt the powers exhibited in the church – time after time. But they are merely tragic almost saved folk. Oops, fooled again.
“the case of” tragic almost saved folk who never made the final decision. They “tasted” and liked what Jesus has done in others, but never accepted all of Jesus. They fell short of the 100% “all in” for Jesus.

Third group
18 And others are the ones on whom seed was sown among the thorns; these are the ones who have heard the word, 19 but the worries and cares of the world [the distractions of this age with its worldly pleasures], and the deceitfulness [and the false security or glamour] of wealth [or fame], and the passionate desires for all the other things creep in and choke out the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
Along the road there is the thorn folk. Maybe you are one of them. You heard the message of salvation, the call to repent. But…
Your worries, your worldly distractions, your political entanglements, countless pleasures available, the deceitfulness of wealth with all of its false securities and shiny glamour, the call of fame, and your “passionate desires for all the other things” out there… crept in and obliterated God’s message. Any faith you had became a total unfruitful mess. Poor enlightened folks.
You’ve let in the enemies of your soul, become won-over to them. So sad. You conformed when you should have resisted.
Fourth group…the last group
20 And those [in the last group] are the ones on whom seed was sown on the good soil; and they hear the word [of God, the good news regarding the way of salvation] and accept it and bear fruit—thirty, sixty, and a hundred times as much [as was sown].”
This is the soil group you want to have your seed germinate in.
hear it, accept it, grow it
“…they hear the word and accept it and bear fruit….”

Hebrews 6:4-6 Excerpt: Hebrews 6 speaks of “the case of” tragic almost saved folk who never made the final decision. They “tasted” and liked what Jesus has done in others, but never accepted all of Jesus. They fell short of the 100% “all in” for Jesus.
Enlightened folks Excerpt: When the buzz is gone, the excitement is over, the others have gone home, and it’s only you: are you truly His, or was it just a thrill, an emotional high, a status thing, a “thing” you’ve done – something religious that you like?
Don’t rely on “once saved always saved” theology…Soil group #2 think this: “once saved always saved”…but were never saved.

The “you will never enter” warning passages in Scripture
Practicing Sin, Not following Christ Excerpt:Are you practicing sin?
Is there sin you constantly practice? Have you grown accustomed to accepting [“your” sin] as okay with God? Are you okay with the practices of your life? Most importantly: Is God okay with your practices?
Scripture teaches us very clearly what is obviously …NOT following Christ. In fact, we are warned that “that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” You are not following Christ if this is characteristic of you: Galatians 5:16-21.
Practicing Sin In one link (1 John 3:9, 1 John 3:4,1 John 3:8, Galatians 5:16-21) or:
1 John 3:9 No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot [practice] sin, because he is born of God.
1 John 3:4 Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.
1 John 3:8 the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.
Caught up with a practice God has said not to practice—If you are “practicing them” — you’re toast Google it.

It’s a very simple message from God, actually – what He expects of us. His message is to all of us — us sinful, willful, rebellious, self-centered creatures: Acts 17:30-31
“…He commands
all people everywhere
to repent
[that is, to change their old way of thinking,
to regret their past sins, and
to seek God’s purpose for their lives],
31 because He has set a day
when He will judge the inhabited world
in righteousness
by a Man whom He has appointed
and destined for that task, and
He has provided credible proof
to everyone
by raising Him from the dead.”

- Amplified Bible version of Luke 9:23 – 23 And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple],
he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests],
and take up his cross daily [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come]
and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me].
