If you have a wolf at the door, Scripture warns us to shut the door to it. Remove the wolf. You do not want a wolf in your father’s house.
When doctrinal error and false practices are introduced, or you have evidence of it in your church, Scripture says this about that:
“Remove the evil from among you”
– Deuteronomy 13:1-5
Let no excuse prevail over that removal. Being nice, loved, respected… is not an excuse for letting the evil prevail. The fact is: the prophet or “dreamer of dreams” has taught to follow strange doctrines, to follow “other gods”.
The false prophet can even accomplish giving you “a sign or a wonder” – but that does not mean they are powered by God. Satan copies God. Apostates are to be removed. Or just walk away. Do not attend apostate churches.
Deuteronomy 13:1-5 AMP
13 “If a prophet arises among you, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder, 2 and the sign or the wonder which he spoke (foretold) to you comes to pass, and if he says, ‘Let us follow after other gods (whom you have not known) and let us serve and worship them,’
3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams;
for the Lord your God is testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind and all your soul [your entire being].
4 You shall walk after the Lord your God and you shall fear [and worship] Him [with awe-filled reverence and profound respect], and you shall keep His commandments and you shall listen to His voice, and you shall serve Him, and cling to Him.
5 But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has counseled rebellion against the Lord your God who brought you from the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of slavery, to draw you away from the way in which the Lord your God has commanded you to walk. So you shall remove the evil from among you.
Does any of this ring a bell with you – about your church leaders? This person is an apostate. He is described here as a church leader who
“has counseled rebellion against the Lord your God…
to draw you away from the way in which the Lord your God has commanded you to walk.”
I biblically tut these apostate imposters
The New Testament is chuck-full of such warnings. Today false teachers have more guile. They do not outright counsel rebellion against God or promote another God. They are sneakier.
They twist Truth into what looks good but is contrary to God’s Word. They teach “another Gospel”, but don’t tell you it is another one.
The Bible says: Deuteronomy 13:1-5 if anyone teaches a different gospel, leading you “from the way in which the Lord your God has commanded you to walk” — then you are to “remove the evil from among you“. For today that means either dismiss that staffer, or leave the church. Apostate ways are not the Lord’s Way.

God is testing you
Do you know that the Lord tests us? He wants to “try us” so we will stay faithful.

Turning into apostate types
False Christian churches are especially evil in that they keep their pewsitters from true salvation. They produce apostate types that are not saved. And if you are “saved” (or think you are) from before you arrived to the church, they get you to practice what God has condemned... and thus you join their ranks, making you into a Type B apostate.
Don’t be the type that Jesus warned about, the type that comes before Him in His Court “when all of life is over and our work on earth is done…” and Jesus says as Judge,
“Depart from Me. I never knew you.”

Verses warning us today
The Bible says: refute those who contradict it
The Bible gives multiple biblical warnings against false teachings – their apostles, their prophets, and their teachers. Bible warnings are explicit as to what they teach, and who is teaching them. They are not merely “mistaken”.
The warnings call them “apostate” and says they “are not of us”. They are not saved. Strong warnings, are they not? And we are to continue teaching the Bible in it’s entirety.

Doing what God said “don’t”
You can’t ever be saved by disobeying Jesus. If you already are truly saved, then yes, He forgives your disobedience, if it is not a practice. Failing is one thing. Practicing is another.
But you don’t get saved by practicing what He is against. And that is what NARers do. They think they can get away with what God said “don’t”.

No matter how nice or loving an apostate may be, the truth is – an apostate is rejecting Jesus. Apostates go with their own practices rather than with what is clearly taught in Scripture. Study the Bible to know what God wants.
