Jesus foretold the future. He was technically “a prophet”. But He was far more, as we know. He was the Godman Jesus – come down from His heavenly Home.
He became a man in order to die as one of us, not sinful, but as a perfect human — as a substitute on our behalf. By that death and resurrection — Jesus was made legally capable of legally forgiving sinners in His Courts of Heaven, where His system of justice will finally prevail.
But here He was Matthew 26, just prior to being crucified, and Jesus said Matthew 26:64, Mark 14:62
“…in the future
you will see Me revealed….”

…in the future you will see [Me
revealed as] the Son of Man
seated at the [a]right hand….
The context of this statement is: the high priest is accusing Jesus of claiming to be God. So Jesus says, more or less –

If you are against Jesus:
Set aside all your arguments and supposed “knowledge”, and listen to this Godman who lived on earth for 33 years and then sacrificed His life for the sins of man. He is the One who has the Truth. Not me. Not you. Jesus. And He told His disciples the knowledge we would need to believe and get saved.
All your opining, this and that, your argumentative attitude, your mislead persnickety ways? Try real hard to let it go.
Eternity has two sides to it. What side will you choose? You will experience one or the other:

But we know the Bible says that on That Day all humankind will become immortal, never to die again. Apparently there will be two types of “eternity”, where we experience either one or the other:
1. No “Good” of God. If we die in our sin, we keep our sin, and we then begin a life totally separated from God, separated from His goodness, existing without any goodness. I do not want any part in this! How about you?
2. Only the “Good” of God. If we die in Christ, born again by the Spirit, we have no sin, and we then begin life in God’s own Timeless Infinite Continuum, His “Paradise”.

Give Jesus a chance. He has not forgotten His promise to return. Wait for it. His perspective of time is different from ours. The logic and common sense is God’s. Listen and believe the proofs.
