What’s next for us here on earth? We can’t say for sure. But we do know a few details from Scripture. And I can say what I’d rather prefer.
We are the odd creature, are we not?
A good habit for me in the mornings is to discuss “me” with God. It’s a cleansing thing from Psalm 139:23-24. Odd how some can go all their life with “whatever” and never strain-out the gnats.
I dither dodder, shilly-shally, fritter life away
What I rather really want to do, is get ready for Jesus to Rapture me up. Instead it seems I dither dodder.
One minute away from the Kingdom of God
How far away are you – from the Holy Kingdom of God? It’s not far, actually. God is not distant. Just one minute… and you can be there.
What you think and practice as compared with what Jesus thinks
The way you think (as in your worldview, your political leaning, your personal outlook on things) shows your agreement or disagreement with Jesus, or your rejection of what Jesus taught. If you reject His teaching, then, does that mean you reject Jesus Himself?
What knowing the Bible does for you
If we know our Bible, we will know Christ, acknowledge Christ, and recognize Christ. We will know what saves us and what does not. We will be more and more like Christ. That’s a great thing.
If we do not think like God Almighty thinks
What happens when we do not think like the God above? Are you reading the Bible in order to know what He wants from you?
What happens when you do not know what the Bible says on a matter?
Do you know what the Bible says? If we are to go to Heaven, we must know the message of God for us on earth. Makes sense to me.
When Christians disappear and you wonder why
One day soon, Christians will suddenly disappear off the face of planet earth. What will that mean for you? This is happening soon, so let’s talk about what to do.
Discrediting Jesus
Do you yourself speak harshly of Christ, choosing to reject Him? Have you read in the Bible that Jesus claimed to BE God? Jesus claimed to be the only way to God. Are you in on that?
Shincheonji – a highly controlling pseudo-Christian cult
Founded in 1984, Shincheoniji is a false teaching movement from South Korea that is all over the world now. Like the NAR, Shincheoniji misleads with many false doctrines, promoting a false salvation. Beware of this dangerous cult.
I have stumbled like a drunk
Are you “pursuing spiritual perfection”? Or: Are you deep in the miry clay, still, lost in your sinfulness? Want to get out? Turn. Get yourself to Jesus through sincere and truthful prayer. Christians do not have to sin. You once turned – to it. And so it is a choice also to turn from it, from what has ensnared you – and turn to Jesus in repentance. It’s a choice: be faithful once again, or stumble like a drunk, eat vomit like a dog, wallow like a pig.
The Old Testament is still Truth for today
The Old Testament (OT) is still true today. It is an integral part of our Christian faith. It still teaches us what God established.
Tolerating others and being biblical
Rebeller rabble-rousers seek to infringe on the religious rights of Christian folk. You okay with that?
Voting is what every Christian is responsible to do
Voting while a wild and wooly culture is banging at the door. Don’t let them in to rob and kill. Don’t be fooled again! We are losing our blessed country.
God’s wonderful blend of dynamic power, immense love, divine forces, and human transcendence
As mere humans, we are engulfed in the vortex of battle between good and evil. Whether we like it, or not, that is the reality within this world that God created. We must remember – it is God who created us, not we ourselves. We have an obligation, by God, to choose Him, the Good, or continue, enslaved by Evil.
Being an “evangelical” in today’s wild and wooly ungodly culture
Evangelicals take God at His Word – as recorded for us in the Bible. Don’t believe what the ungodly say about evangelicals. What do they know?
Allow God to turn your heart
Got an attitude? Do you know the attitude God wants to see in you?
Arguing with God
Are you seeking to know God? How’s that going for you?
Jesus abolished death
Quiz time: What was the most momentous act ever? Who has power over life and death? Only Jesus! He has abolished death and He is the One that gives eternal life.
Where only the strong survive
We can stand strong in the midst of pressures, but our strength is in Christ. Scripture says to rely on the Holy Spirit who is within us. We are over-comers because “…He who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world [of sinful mankind].”
The Dems of today are The New Left
Have you noticed how the Democrat party has changed over the years. Looked at their platform lately? If you historically have counted yourself a Democrat: Are you still okay with supporting the platform of that party?
Think about it. Have you strayed from the truth?
The “godly truth” You got it? The truth that is godly? It takes a lot of careful thinking to keep safe the “godly truth entrusted to” us who follow Jesus. 1 Timothy 6:20-21 The Apostle Paul tells us we must constantly be discerning, like a judge with a gavel, passing judgement right and left — […]
Fickle Piccadillies
Does your moral mind bend and accept tiny “small sins” throughout your day? I’ve found that to be true at times.
Being tested to know for sure your faithfulness to God
It is a pass or fail test – what God uses on us. Where are you at with Him?
Ten quieries where Paul asks us – Do you not know?
What do you not know? …about why God rejects anyone? …about how a little sin corrupts a person? …about why God asks us to repent?
Evidences Showing Us that Jesus is Messiah
Irrefutable evidences show us Jesus was God. We believe eyewitness witnesses. You with it? Or are you still giving heed to baseless denials?
“You are not of God”, Jesus said
Matthew 25:31-46 speaks of the day He will separate the sheep from the goats: His sheep of His pasture, and also the goats who have rejected Him. Are you ready for that day of judgement?
My every hour counts big time
God has “made us and prepared us” for a holy, eternal, celestial – imperishable, incorruptible, immortal body and spirit. Better be ready!
