Do you know Him?
What a terrific way to live life – being “of good courage and confident hope”. Living with good courage and being confident with hope – comes as a result of living God’s way, staying within what God intended, living “God’s Normal”. Let’s look at this as the Apostle Paul laid it out.
The very clearly delineated message of salvation from Jesus Himself, the Gatekeeper to Heaven, is: “deny himself…”, express “a willingness to endure whatever may come”, and “follow Me” – which means “believing in Me, conforming to My example in living”. It’s free. It’s simple. But it will cost you.
If I were to let sin reign in my body, then — what a mess. But I don’t let it. I am not “these things”. I am strong in Him. Only in Him.
Are you trying His patience with the way you live in contradiction to His written will? Got an unrepentant heart? Careful with that. Eventually He may lose patience and give-you-up to your unbridled ways. Examine the signs. Are you NOT following Christ “by an ongoing experience” in your day-to-day living?
Today, what is Right is wrong. What is wrong, is on your Right. The Left is full of it. Are you trying to get to Heaven with your Left foot? Jesus had no Left foot, so where do you think your Left foot leads?
