Jesus promised troubles would come our way as His followers. Paul said, “Take with me your share of hardship [passing through the difficulties which you are called to endure], like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.”
Jesus is stronger
Jesus is stronger and He wins in the end. And because I am in Christ I am stronger than all the enemies of my soul, and I win in the end. Jesus saved me, brought me up and out of the miry clay. And He will bring me into His Kingdom called Heaven when I die. Hallelujah!

Punishment and Reward
There are punishment and rewards because God is just (Deuteronomy 32:4), and what we sow we do reap (Galatians 6:7-8). But that does not mean that there does not exist another side to suffering. Jesus suffered death so that we could have eternal life (John 6:47, 50; Titus 1:2; 1 John 5:11).
