I really liked this comment by Robert Burns – a good little twist of words on

(Read comments at end of this article. I have copied some to the FOR MORE section below.)
That is what we should all be prepared to do. We can stand strong. In His strength – Yes we can!
What’s it gonna be for you?
- You staying in your pleasure sins for this short life on earth?
Or… - You living with all that is good – forever, with our Most Creative Entity in the Universe!
It won’t be long – and all earthlings without Christ will be kneeling on That Day where God damns sinners who flipped away their chance to choose Jesus and repent. Yes, He is a Damning God. But He is also a loving, rewarding God.
He will reward the few who wholeheartedly admitted their sinfulness and turned to Jesus for forgiveness while on earth. He has a whole lot of grace and mercy for all of us who turn.
There is no way on earth that any of us can live to merit God’s forgiveness – His grace and His mercy. No way in hell. No way in the whole God-damned universe. Because it is not good enough for holiness, Holy God.
Without Christ, what am I? Certainly not holy – without fault. How can I hope to merit anything of God? -Source: Through Grace and Sheer Mercy
I’m with you, robert burns, as you said it: “I would rather stand with God and be judged by the world than stand with the world and be judged by God.”
FOR MORE:
I can’t kneel before anything but God, Jesus Christ
As creations by God on earth, it behooves us to read, hear, and heed what God Himself has revealed to us as His will. How can we expect this God of the Universe to accept us into His holy Kingdom, if we do not read, hear, and heed His expressed desire for us? Have you read the Bible lately?
