God is against… sin
Human sins are too many to count… “things which are not proper“, what comes “out of the heart”, what we are to be “putting aside”. Jesus makes us a one-off offer:
(1)Keep it, practice it, let sin reign over you… or (2)turn from sin – turn to Jesus, leave it, don’t let it…reign.
God warns us that those “who practice such things” will absolutely not inherit His Holy Kingdom Heaven. See: Romans 1:18-23: “so that they are without excuse.” That is quite simple a warning, and quite definite a consequence. Continue your practice, and… it’s not possible to saved, and you will not inherit eternal life in Heaven.
If you see yourself into what the Bible calls “a sinful practice” – you can turn to the Lord in prayer, confess your sin, and repent of it. God is right there with you in that moment. He cares. He will meet you in your prayer. See: How prayer works.
OLD TESTAMENT… Exodus 20
The Ten Commandments Bible search belong first on this list, of course. See them here: Exodus 20.
NEW TESTAMENT…listing sins
These are New Testament references (and Proverbs) listing sins. See all in one link, or: 2 Corinthians 12:20, 1 Timothy 5:13, Romans 1:29, Romans 1:24-25, Matthew 15:19, 1 Peter 2:1, Proverbs 16:28, Ephesians 4:31, 2 Peter 2, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, 2 Timothy 3:1-7, 1 Timothy 1:6-11, Romans 1:18-19, Matthew 7:21-23, Ephesians 4:17-19, Ephesians 4: verses 17-32
2 Corinthians 12:20 …“strife, jealousy, angry tempers, disputes, slanders, gossip, arrogance, disturbances”
1 Timothy 5:13 …”without self-control, brutal, haters of good”
Romans 1:29 …“those things which are not proper, 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful;32 and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.”
Romans 1:24-25 …vile impurity in the lusts of their hearts, …they exchanged the truth of God for [q]falsehood, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed [r]forever
Matthew 15:19 …“For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders”
1 Peter 2:1 …“Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander”
Proverbs 16:28 …“A perverse man spreads strife, And a slanderer separates intimate friends.”
Ephesians 4:31 …“Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice”
2 Peter 2 …“false prophets”
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 …“Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.”
2 Timothy 3:1-7 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, [a not loving good]haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of [b religion]godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these.
6 For among them are those who [c creep into]slip into households and captivate [d idle]weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, 7 always learning and never able to come to the [e recognition]knowledge of the truth.
1 Timothy 1:6-11 …“and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine 11 that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God….”
I’m sure you can think of more.
Romans 1:18-19
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who suppress the truth [a]in unrighteousness, 19 because that which is known about God is evident [b]within them; for God made it evident to them.

We all have a sin problem. Some have dealt with it with God. Others have dealt with it by their own thinking and rationalizations. What have you done with your sin problem?

Balancing-out my faith with my practice Excerpt: You cannot balance-out your faith with practices that are heinous to God and expect God to change His ways for you. God does not use a balance scale. I cannot “balance-out my faith” by practicing sin.
Consequences of supporting evil
Hebrews 12:15-17…warning to all sinners: “later on… he was rejected“
15 See to it that no one falls short of God’s grace; that no root of resentment springs up and causes trouble, and by it many be defiled; 16 and [see to it] that no one is immoral or godless like Esau, who sold his own birthright for a single meal. 17 For you know that later on, when he wanted [to regain title to] his inheritance of the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no opportunity for repentance [there was no way to repair what he had done, no chance to recall the choice he had made], even though he sought for it with [bitter] tears.
2 Corinthians 13:5
“Test and evaluate yourselves
to see whether you are in the faith
and living your lives as [committed] believers.
Examine yourselves [not me]!
Or do you not recognize this
about yourselves
[by an ongoing experience]
that Jesus Christ is in you
—unless indeed you fail the test
and are rejected as counterfeit?

Don’t let it Excerpt: When I sin, I have another choice to make. I can choose to:
confess and repent, turn away and admit failure, turn around and go the other way, kneel in humbleness and ask for His strength to resist the devil, resist temptation, stand strong in the power of His might;
or
wallow and go deeper into sin, delay and continue, rebel further and more seriously, become more engaged in sin, make my sin my way of life, give up and give in, seek arguments and philosophies to condone my actions, say it’s alright, totally reject Jesus.
Letter to Danny Excerpt: You can choose life, or you can choose death. Choose life under God, or choose life void totally of the graces of God our Creator. It´s your choice. Take it or leave it.

Let’s be clear.
If you end up in a burning hell for all eternity, it won’t be because you have a tattoo, or because you have a nose ring, or because you drink beer or have an addiction/addictions, smoke cigarettes, or because you spent time in prison. It won’t be because you didn’t do enough good deeds. It won’t be because you didn’t belong to the right church. It won’t be because you didn’t belong to the right political party. It won’t be because of that dumb thing you did that you don’t want anybody to know about. It won’t be because of what anyone else did to you.It will be because you refused to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior! HE already paid for all the stupid stuff you have done and all the stupid stuff you are going to do when HE died FOR YOU on the cross and rose again! HE offers salvation as a FREE GIFT because, let’s face it, if it was up to us to earn it, we would have no chance.
The gift of salvation is there for you to receive. The decision is totally up to you. The price for your sins has been paid, the way to heaven for you has been made. All you have to do is reach out to Him.
Call out to Him. He’s there.
AMEN !!! 🙏🙏🙏
