One reason why
There is only one reason God will without a doubt accept you into His Kingdom. Do you know what that is?
There is only one reason God will not accept you into His Kingdom. Do you know what that is?
Sin damns you to Hell, but it is your heart that keeps you there, God damned on earth. Therefore your need for salvation is not a sin issue — but rather a heart issue.
If you change your heart, you change your destiny. You will stay damned forever if your heart stays the same. If you die that way, you stay that way – forever damned, forever without the goodnesses of God. That is what Hell is all about.
Each of us must change our heart, turn to Jesus in repentance and accept Him. With THAT act Jesus saves.
God’s System of Justice
Believe the Bible. There is a real Hell.
God will not accept you into His Kingdom if you remain with unforgiven sin on your record. Yes, God keeps a record. And you can have that record expunged forever – and have your name written into The Book of Life. But you must turn to Jesus with sincerity and truth. Otherwise, well, you get to stay away from God and all His goodness… forever. That’s the truth.
“He created us to love Him, and He deeply loves His creation. But He absolutely loathes the sin. He loved mankind so much that He went out of His way to provide forgiveness of that sin and it’s punishment.
He felt so strongly about it that He left His awesomely plush heavenly throne where He was totally in control, came down to earth as a man, the man Jesus Christ, knowing beforehand what it would be like, and willingly suffered a death on the cross — all in order to satisfy His Court’s justice system.
He offered Himself as the legal substitute for all sinner’s condemnation – clearing the way for any of us to be pardoned. He cleared the future universe of all sin by His death and resurrection! THAT is pretty intense. He hated sin that much, and loved us – that much! That is Creator God.

What if… today is your last day – and Hell is home tonight? Or, you can accept Christ this moment.
“One thing you lack….”
To the rich young ruler who came looking for an answer, Jesus said: “One thing you lack….” It might be a different “one thing” for you. But “one thing” alone was keeping him away from an eternity with everything good in the universe!
Matthew put it this way: “If your eye causes you to stumble and sin, pluck it out and throw it away from you [that is, remove yourself from the source of temptation]; it is better for you to enter life with only one eye, than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fiery hell.” – Matthew 18:9
My Swift paraphrase of this verse (Matthew 18:19)
I would gouge-out my own eye — if doing so would release me from enslavement and help me believe, so as to not be thrown into a God damned eternity without any of the goodness of God.
– The following section is a quote from: One thing you lack
Is there one thing about you – which will be your regret for all eternity, because you denied Christ His rightful place on the throne of your heart? One thing in your heart can be like what Jesus said to the rich young ruler (Mark 10:17; Luke 18:18; Matthew 19:16). We must fear God, in the sense of “respect God” so much – that we will reject our stubborn ways in order to please Him.
19 Oh, how great is your goodness to those who publicly declare that you will rescue them. For you have stored up great blessings for those who trust and reverence you.
– Psalm 31:19 Living Bible (TLB)
The rich young ruler (Mark 10:17; Luke 18:18; Matthew 19:16) turned away from God totally disappointed because he loved his lifestyle more than he loved Jesus. He thought he had it all together, that he was absolutely ready to meet his Maker.
That you? What will it be like to miss the way to heaven — because you lacked just one thing?!
“And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by which we must be saved [for God has provided the world no alternative for salvation].”
– Acts 4:12
Instead of a world of alternatives… God provides one choice: Your Own Way or Jesus’ Only Way. It is quite simple actually.
You have a choice.
What is it in you?
Have you tasted and seen… but then not chosen Jesus?
Are you one of those? The many “enlightened” folks who have tasted what God does in Christians… but you haven’t really yielded to God, you haven’t truly chosen to follow Him? Have you fallen away?
– Source: Enlightened Folks
What do you need to “pluck out”? What do you need to throw away — in order to follow Him. You have a choice (as in: God will not force you into His Kingdom).
The God who created Hell for those who choose to rebel and reject Him to follow their sin,
Are you holding steady… for hell? Or are you choosing “the forgiving God“?

Do nothing and you remain “God Damned” on earth. Do one thing – and you will be changed forever and live with the God of all that is good.
Turn to Jesus – because He is the answer. His answer is good for eternity. Got a longer-lasting answer yourself?
39 One of the criminals who had been hanged [on a cross beside Him] kept hurling abuse at Him, saying, “Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us [from death]!”
