Being Rash – or – Having Faith
Habakkuk 2:4 explains the difference between being “rash” and “having faith”.
4 See, the rash have no integrity;
but the just one who is righteous because of faith shall live.
– Habakkuk 2:4
__________
BibleGateway Footnote 2:4 The just one who is righteous because of faith shall live: the faithful survive the impending doom because they trust in God’s justice and wait patiently for God to carry it out.
Several New Testament passages cite these words (Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38) to confirm the teaching that people receive justification and supernatural life through faith in Christ.
__________
Acting on God’s Word…not being rash MirWeb “marked by or proceeding from undue haste or lack of deliberation or caution”
Abraham was “righteous” because he acted on God’s word to him. He held tight to God’s promises. That is what the Christian does: the Christian endures.
20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. 22 And have mercy on some, who are doubting; 23 save others, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment polluted by the flesh.
24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, 25 to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

The true follower of Christ endures. Those who go “out” do not. Big difference.

Get your 2-2 on! Based on…
Rev 2:2
‘I know [a]your deeds and your toil, and your patient endurance, and that you cannot tolerate those who are evil, and have tested and critically appraised those who call themselves apostles (special messengers, personally chosen representatives, of Christ), and [in fact] are not, and have found them to be liars and impostors”
Come on folks. Get your 2-2 on! I tut MirWeb: disapprove, reject these imposters. These who call themselves gifted by God – but are most definitely, biblically, not.
Don’t you fink out with Truth. Scripture says to test them, find-them-out. Look at their works. They are self-deceived fakes. Not gifted. Paul was very definite about this here also: 1 Timothy 6:3-5
Speaking with love about what is true and what is false Excerpt: If we carefully read Scripture, we are sure to see horribly false teachings are rampant in many churches today.
They form a NARcissistic gospel. It is incumbent upon us to warn others of the actual false teachers and their false teachings. Paul and John and Jude warned about this (2 Corinthians 11:4). Let’s examine where Jude urges us to “contend for the faith”, “fight strenuously for the faith”, defend the faith.
