The worst about life
is an end without Christ
abandoned desert heart
tender fatherless orphan
Such awareness of alone
so intense to be left alone
I’m hollow full of empty wants
no one cares I’m there or not
such absorbing pain no hope
Just another horizon dark and empty
foreboding black walls bleed sorrows
no windows no light
no views no hopeful glimpse
just darkness every day
every minute every hour endless nite
Deep in my soul l’m undone
such shallow existence I know so well

I’m left once again
I’m so nothing good
all alone cries my sick and painridden self
ever empty luckless soul

The best about life
is living with Jesus
oh assurance of constancy
His Spirit inside never leaves me
I’m His this moment of joy
I’ll never be left alone
not tomorrow – not a chance
He said “I give them eternal life”
I started that life
Jesus the Godman keeps it eternal
by His might I’m kept in His love
He promised to never leave me
Alone He died abandoned

He rose up from the dead victorious
Oh victory His life when ending
Jesus conquered the grave

I’m saved forever by His blood
because He arose from the dead victorious
eternally His I am
eternally grateful I am
When that day arrives
He takes me Home
no pain no hurting
no tears no sadness
finally it is permanent
the temp is made immortal
with new body and upgraded mind
what unimagined glory will be mine
with Jesus then as King in Glory
On earth, before – He was my Lord and Savior
but He will be more that glorious day
He will be King of Glory

This King is Jesus the Messiah
promised to the Jewish People
and through Jesus – promised to us all
written for the record – undeniable and true
immortal we will be – who followed Him
What hope and joy I have
it’s mine He made me new that moment
peace and gladness
fulfillment will never abate
deep inside my soul it’s sweet
ever strong in Jesus
Since the day He made me new
alone no longer
I am His and He is mine
loving abandon – forever.
