Poetry MerWeb: writing that formulates a concentrated imaginative awareness of experience in language chosen and arranged to create a specific emotional response through meaning, sound, and rhythm
vs
Prose MerWeb: the ordinary language people use in speaking or writing; a literary medium distinguished from poetry especially by its greater irregularity and variety of rhythm and its closer correspondence to the patterns of everyday speech
Verses I have written
When I pray I always want to have no sin Excerpt:
…I am short of holy
in need of His cleansing
so what I do is
confess anew….
Who But You Oh Lord Excerpt:
…Lord keep me guide me guard me through what-e’er I do this day
Keep me strong that I may bless each soul that needs Your cheer
Be they man or woman, child or young adult
Family stranger neighbor friend or foe I pray for them
Fill me with your love for each whoever they may be
Divinely send me by your Spirit to be their friend their help in time of need
May your forgiving Spirit pour out through me to those I meet today….
Holy Father Lord of all…God Almighty Excerpt:
Sitting here before you Lord,
my Holy Father, Lord of All
I’m so aware that I’m not holy….
I look – Oh my God Excerpt: …a prayer of praise to God
I look at an orchid, a rose, the tropical fish, lush jungles and forests, men, women and children and I say, “Oh my God such beauty can only be from You. It is good what you have done….
And We All Bow Down Excerpt: And we all bow down, gratefully, so gratefully
And we all bow down
And we feel so impure
The holiness of God around
And we all bow down
Holiness His holiness
And we all bow down
Down and down and down….
Better is thinking with God’s Word Excerpt:
Better is one thought with the Lord
than a thousand elsewhere.
Are you always elsewhere
— wrong with Jesus — following another gospel
or, as John put it — not really “of us”?
Hell is home for the walking dead.
You ain’t leavin’ this home.
You don’t want to go there. You don’t want to be one….
I have stumbled like a drunk Excerpt: Are you “pursuing spiritual perfection”? (Philippians 3:14-18) Or: Are you deep in the miry clay, still, lost in your sinfulness?
Want to get out? Turn. Get yourself to Jesus through sincere and truthful prayer. Christians do not have to sin. You once turned – to it. And so it is a choice also to turn from it, from what has ensnared you – and turn to Jesus in repentance. It’s a choice: be faithful once again, or stumble like a drunk, eat vomit like a dog, wallow like a pig.
Oh Regret Excerpt:
The sin that was
weighs
heavy
my remorse and shame and guilt
not so loving
not so kind
downright awful
wrongs I’ve done….
God is there Excerpt:
…God is there He hears He listens
never gone never rushed
with endless patience
loves me always
even when I go astray
and when I do in many ways
He never ever leaves me
I’m forever not condemned
for He gave me life eternal now…
Satire and “make believe” I have written:
God Speaking Satire Excerpt: Hey! I Am speaking here. You may know me simply as “God”. I have been calling you to come to Me. I tell you the truth – I still love you and want you to follow Me. Your sins do not keep Me away from you. It is your heart. You …are not letting Me in.
This is God speaking This article is a satire about the way God might discuss theology with the NAR-types.
Excerpt: A satire where God says, “Oh, I misspoke, folks.”
“This is God speaking.
Hi – all you NAR-type believers out there! I’m speaking to you NAR-types because I just have to say:
I need to correct Myself!
I misspoke, folks. Oops!
Sorry about that. Oh well!
Did you end up in Hell? Excerpt: Landing in Hell
So – there you are. Hell is Home. What might have happened – to land yourself in Hell?
Oh my! What in Hell am I to do?
If, back in the day when you lived on earth… you claimed to be “Christian” but now of a sudden find yourself in Hell… one of these might be why__________Why I am in Hell
* You were tested and your faithfulness failed the test….
The sins we can practice to go to Hell. Just so you know.
I just want to go to Hell, don’t you? Excerpt:
so I just know I’ll go to Hell, won’t you?
Welcome to the show, What’s Beyond The Door! The stakes are gargantuanly humongous! Excerpt:
This game is all about you. The stakes are gargantuan. You play it alone. Everyone plays it – alone. What’s at stake: Here on this live show you will either gain the best eternal life you could ever dream of having — or you will loose-out forever.

“I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].”
– Philippians 1:6
