It’s okay. It’s okay
to be exactly who and what you are
do just what you want
be just anything at all
love and play and be
anything at all is fine
It’s all okay, yah?
It’s okay. It’s okay, right?
But wait: God has spoken
get it right with Him, yah?
Or don’t you care to spend
a day with Him and ever after?
Christ is all that’s good
and nice and pleasant
joy and peace and love
He is Creator God and holy
holy, holy, holy
His Kingdom without end
is now and ever will be
without sin and holy
Unless we choose to choose
this Christ and Christ alone
we’ll never be in heaven
never make it to this holy holy place
Or do you think you are good enough
to hear that “well done…” from God
in His Court of Justice?
His ways are not our ways. Get it right
To choose to not live on His terms
means choosing not for Christ
…and Christ alone is good
Christ is all that’s good
and nice and pleasant
joy and peace and love
There is an option near at hand
it’s offered free and clear
while in your heart you’re on your knees
choose to choose a new Lord, Christ
“For what will a man give in exchange for his soul
and eternal life [in God’s kingdom]?” (Mark 8:37)
Life here on earth with Christ
begins by yielding all to Him
not sinless but forgiven
choosing Him each day
choice by choice we choose Him
Choose Christ today
do not delay
there may be no tomorrow
Don’t wait and feel dismay
when on That Day you find Him
late, too late, you chose to be
exactly who and what you are
your ways, your choice
regret forever
no good, no nice, no pleasant
no joy, no peace, no love
Choosing self makes life a vapor
but choosing Christ
life lasts and lasts and lasts
forever with all that’s good
and nice and pleasant
joy and peace and love

Matthew 25:23 Amplified Bible (AMP): 23 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little, I will put you in charge of many things; share in the joy of your master.’
Matthew 6:33 Amplified Bible
But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.
James 4:14 Amplified Bible
[a]Yet you do not know [the least thing] [b]about what may happen in your life tomorrow. [What is secure in your life?] You are merely a vapor [like a puff of smoke or a wisp of steam from a cooking pot] that is visible for a little while and then vanishes [into thin air].
