Almighty God is omnipotent
God can do anything He decides to do. Always has. Imagine “always”.
So, when He decided to create us humans, His decision was priceless:
They will have free will.
They will be eternal creatures.
They will be made in Our image.
They will live in bliss with no pain, no sorrow, no tears,
They will forever live in perfect harmony with Me.
They will forever have My love for them.
They will never feel my wrath.
That is where we who are in Christ are headed, folks! Through salvation in Christ anyone can be destined for God’s Home Heaven. Hallelujah!
He foreknew the ugly fall of man into sin. No surprises for this Omniscient God.
Rebellion was the price of “free will”.
Rejecting Him was the price of His plan to live forever with redeemed free thinkers who would choose Him to be their God, their forever Friend.
God is asking you to repent and join Him – forever.
Staying rebellious
Have you stayed in rebellion, choosing your will over His perfect, loving will? Not a good place to be when the reckoning time comes. God, on His own, will announce His “opinion on the nature, character, or quality of” your life. See 2 Peter 3 and verse 16. 1
Without excuse and without defense
Romans 1:20
For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made], so that they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without excuse and without defense.
God has told us what is good and what is not. Have you been paying attention? Remember He will scrutinize our life by His standards. A whole new reality hits us – after that moment of passing.
Ready for that? I am. You can be also.
FOR MORE:
Long ago “and far away” God decided how things were going to be. Are you down with that? God is asking you to repent and join Him – forever.
The sins around us and the sins we do
Are you ready to meet your Maker?
Right on the edge of trusting Him forever
Getting to Heaven is not a religious thing
Salvation in Christ is beyond huge
How much is Heaven worth to you?
God forgives all wrongdoings of all repentant sinners, no exception
What Does it Mean that God Is Omnipotent? | By Candice Lucey | for Christianity.com
“Omnipotent” derives from the Latin omnis meaning “all” and potens or “powerful.” It is not a word used in the Bible, but “almighty” appears in virtually every book of the Old Testament, often dozens of times.
