Online Comments and My Notes…From watching the video

OMGjesus.org Editor Keith says: – I find Brown and Storms devoid of an ability to discern between rational and irrational behavior. They cannot condemn a looney Charismatic who says Jesus appeared at the foot of his bed and played a saxofone! How can a Spirit-filled, educated minister NOT condemn that as a FALSE vision?
They, Brown and Storms, lack discernment. God is not pleased with them I’m sure… and yet Brown is a superstar Charismatic. They are so extremely sold-out to “being Charismatic” that they cannot outright condemn excesses. They cannot call-out this guy by name as apostate. Amazing. They cannot see the light, the obviously false apostate.

“For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge?” -Apostle Paul [Commentor quotes from 1 Corinthians 5:9-13]
“Who are we to judge a brother?” -Michael Brown said.
OMGjesus.org Editor Keith says: Storm and Brown don’t seem to be able to use the Bible to judge a brother as the Bible says we are to do: Hebrews 4:12,
15 “Beware of the false prophets, [teachers] who come to you dressed as sheep [appearing gentle and innocent], but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them [that is, by their contrived doctrine and self-focus]. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the unhealthy tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore, by their fruit you will recognize them [as false prophets]. – Matthew 7:15-20
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day [when I judge them], ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, and driven out demons in Your name, and done many miracles in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them publicly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me [you are banished from My presence], you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].’ – Matthew 7:21-23
OMGjesus.org Editor Keith says: About Kat Kerr
ALL FOUR in this video, Roundtable: Brown & Storms vs. Peters & Osman, (Justin Peters, Jim Osman, Michael Brown, and Sam Storms) agreed that Kat Kerr is looney 1
@willconstantinople6434
Michael says he wants to be consistent. He has obviously put a lot of time into looking at Luther’s words and life (he said he could list a large number of things, and had several committed to memory that he shared), yet has apparently devoted no time whatsoever to prominent (not fringe) figures in the Charismatic ‘camp’, instead consistently saying that he doesn’t know them, doesn’t know what they teach, etc.
Which is more relevant – addressing the life of a man long-dead, and who cannot be challenged directly to repent, or to look at the life of men who are potentially fleecing the flock NOW, speaking falsehoods NOW, and are impacting the lives of millions NOW, and who could theoretically be brought to repentance?
@theclipjax Storms: “Bickle is my best friend in this world… I know this man to the depth of his soul.”
If this debate is about discernment, which it is, debate over.
@TheLtcwilly777 “One of the most condemning aspects of Storms’ and Brown’s willingness to stand for someone based on the length of time they’ve “been friends”. Sam basically falls completely on his sword saying Mike Bickle is his “best friend” and someone that he would stand up for. And then, the truth about Bickle comes out. It destroys their ability to claim any “discernment.”
@HvnBndKJV “No matter how clear the evidence is they still refuse to denounce these false teachers.”
@claudde3470 “From the time I saw the episode where Sid Roth teaches the audience how to speak in tongues, that was it! False teacher right there!
@docbarm3338 “I’m so confused by Sam Storms – he says he would never declare “Thus sayeth the Lord…” or “God told me…” it was EXTREMELY common in ihopkc and Mike Bickle did it himself and his own Ihopkc historical prophecy is BASED on “God told me!”
It’s also a normal part of Bethel Redding teachings and many many other hyper charismatic churches!
@Mark-yb1sp “Why is it that when you track Christian history you DO NOT see documented evidence of the outward gifts being displayed in the early church? Why?
Because it wasn’t necessary as it was during the days of the Apostles. Charismatics loved to display the outward gifts because it gives THEM the attention and not the Lord.
The bottom line is this: I’d rather have the fruits and not the gifts. I will NOT be judged by the gifts, but I WILL be judge by my fruits.
@user-kj2cx2yy7h “A guy who defends Benny Hinn & Sid Roth and has a show called “How To Deepen Your Discernment”?!? LOL! I can’t stop laughing.
@dianahe2814 “From my experience in Namibia and other Africans, the theology of the mainstream charismatic preachers on TBN and others is the mainstream of the charismatic/pentecostal Christians here. I was deceived for so long and I was incredibly hurt when my eyes were open to this and the fact that these preachers do so intentionally, to enrich themselves and fund their lifestyles. I built my life on that theology and had no basis for how to deal with suffering in my life. Thank God for graciously leading me to scripture.
@gatlas720 “I don’t understand Storms and Browns perspective which seems to be affirming that you cannot judge a person by their public teaching and public persona and personal ministry affiliations.

Those guys can’t even admit Benny Hinn is a false teacher and they want to lecture people on discernment.
@maxmustermann1206
“…I have grave concerns for those …who can so quickly condemn others to Hell.” – Dr. Michael Brown
It’s sad that Dr. Michael Brown didn’t listen to what Jim Osman said. Jim Osman clearly said he was not condemning others to Hell, but judging them by their fruit, i.e. their doctrine and their behavior.
Dr. Michael Brown says that Benny Hinn is a Christian, but Benny Hinn teaches the spiritual death of Jesus:
“Before He died, I should say, on that cross, something happened to Him which began the wheels of the new creation moving and that was this: He died spiritually…Jesus Christ understood that spiritual death is union with the Satanic nature.” –Benny Hinn
If Jesus died spiritually, then Jesus ceased to be God. That is not Biblical. Can someone really be saved and repeatedly teach such blasphemy?

@reginagreen489 “I am shocked at the hesitancy of Storms and Brown to stand on the truth of scripture. They seem to be much more concerned about the reputation of ungodly men than they are about the purity of the Gospel message. I’m not sure if I’ll listen to either of them again. Their views make me sad for the church. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dd8b2ia66ms
@timothyharris4246
Upon hearing Justin’s description of how Benny Hinn taught the 9-member godhead, Storm’s replies, “But do you know his heart?”
Using this metric we can’t call ANYONE a false teacher/prophet. Storms needs to provide biblical proof for his metric of discerning a false teacher. We know a tree by its fruit and we test every teaching to God’s revealed truth (Scripture). How can we claim to know someone’s heart? 2 Cor. 11:13-15 “For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness.”

Brown defending Sid Roth the way he does, and saying over and over again that Sid is a brother in Christ and also stating that he doesn’t watch the Roth show is just an insult to everyone’s intelligence. It’s just insulting. His refusal to look into false teaching allegations of his friends is just pathetic and having any type of conversation with Brown is literally a waste of time. Brown refuses to look into grave allegations which makes his discernment non existent. Just because Martin Luther had serious error doesn’t take away the horrors that the NAR do for the gospel.
@jessicae3915
I was in the Bethel movement and it was because someone did their research, rebuked their false teachings, and proved why it was false, that I got out and was led to the truth. For Sam to say that Justin needs to stop watching videos from false teachers is wrong. Thank you Justin for your hard work in fighting for the truth of scripture.
@katelynflorentine “Justin and Jim, you displayed tremendous patience. Towards the end of this video I was quite flustered and upset. I was in the hyper charismatic movement for over a decade. There’s a lot of passion and zeal for God, but absolutely no understanding of the biblical Gospel. This is common. I left the charismatic church and God saved me four years later after hearing the true Gospel. Realizing my sins against a Holy God was devastating and I grieved for months. I want to be gracious but I’m not sure how Sam and Dr. Michael simply cannot call out false teachers? If they cared about the souls of people, they absolutely would warn fellow Christians about Todd White, Benny Hinn, Bill Johnson and others.
@wannafish1 “Well, finally got through this. I came out of the Pentecostal movement 9 years ago. There is nothing that will convince those who rely on experience over scripture. I’m thankful God brought me out of that.
@jennesset1102
The defense of “I don’t know them personally,soooo….” has no weight. Kat Kerr is crazy, but Sid Roth is a sane, great guy? Inconsistent.
@lisabaker4185 “So many thoughts form upon reflection of this roundtable. I applaud Jim Osman and Justin Peters for their patience and utter dependence upon the Word of God. Thinking about the Todd White section. If his actions are of God (and we all know they are not), why the manipulation of the feet and ankles? If his so-called healing is of God and for His glory, why can’ t he just say, ” In Jesus’ name you are healed.” ? The answer is so obvious; he can’t, and it’s NOT for God’s glory. These “hucksters” and “charlatans,” as Justin so aptly names them, are deceiving millions and millions of people. Storms asks Justin “to what end” is his exposure of these false teachers. To the end Scripture affirms-to warn people and drive us back to the Bible, the only true revelation of God, and to give all the glory to God.

For Sam and Michael to make excuses after watching the Todd White’s false leg lengthening shame is mind blowing to me because discerned is absolutely necessary for ministry.
@ezanautalo2355
It’s funny, Michael Brown, who seems to know about Luther, who lived 500 years ago, but doesn’t “know” about Benny Hinn’s issues who is alive today and which are reported even in secular media. How convenient!!
Sid Roth (has TV program exploiting people with weird books) is apostate, per Peters. We are to teach sound doctrine! Not weird stuff like Roth does.
