Jesus warned: a trap is coming soon. And it is not claptrap MirWeb. It’s for real. The warning is for real. And the warning is for all on earth, Jesus said.
That “trap” kills. This coming trap is the worst:
“it will come upon all
those who live
on the face of all the earth.”
– Luke 21:35
Things to Come Read: Luke 21:7-36
…The Return of Christ, and Parable of the Fig Tree
The biggest foretelling for the future that Jesus Himself made is found here in Luke 21:7-36.
When the Messiah returns
The wording is a bit tricky, so pay attention to what Jesus actually said and implied. 1 Jesus said:
“But be on guard, so that your hearts are not weighed down and depressed with the giddiness of debauchery and the nausea of self-indulgence and the worldly worries of life, and then that day [when the Messiah returns] will not come on you suddenly like a trap….” – Luke 21:34
“Be on guard…and then that day [when the Messiah returns] will not come on you suddenly like a trap….” Jesus is saying that if we keep ourselves from sin, then the day of Messiah’s return in glory and power will not affect you. Why? Because you will have already been snatched off the earth – in what the New Testament calls “The Rapture“.
“Soon and very soon – we are going to see the King!”
– Song by Andraé Crouch
Jesus implies that if we DO NOT keep ourselves free from sin — then that day will most certainly hit you like a trap. IF we DO keep ourselves free from sin… then the sudden return of Christ the King will not fall on you like a trap. Jesus is warning all of us living in these End Times: Be very careful how you live. “Be on guard”.
Rejectors “practice sin”
If you are not truly born again – then, know that the trap will fall on you. Why? Because you will have been left behind when Christ raptured His followers several years prior. Christ does not rapture rejectors.
When it is time:
Excerpt from: Jews and anyone else who rejects Jesus.
Actually — anyone (Romans 3:23), everyone, will be ceremoniously “thrown out” into “the abyss” (the bottomless pit, the dwelling place of demons), into Hell — if they reject Christ Jesus — not just “the sons and heirs of the kingdom [the descendants of Abraham who will not recognize Me as Messiah]” (verse 12).
“Rejectors” (all those “who will not recognize Me as Messiah”) will not be in God’s Home Heaven. How very huge the bummer.
-Source: Jews and anyone else who rejects Jesus.
I contend that folks are actually “practicing sin” — if they are “weighed down and depressed with the giddiness of debauchery and the nausea of self-indulgence and the worldly worries of life”. If that is indicative of you, then you are most likely “practicing sin”, and therefore not saved.
Christians do struggle at times, but “your hearts are not weighed down“. This passage (Luke 21:7-36) ties that “weighed down…” condition with NOT “being ready”, NOT “be found worthy”, and NOT “to escape”. All truly born again are definitely “ready” and “worthy” and will “escape” by way of the Rapture and will assuredly “stand in the presence of the Son of Man [at His coming]“:
36 But keep alert at all times [be attentive and ready], praying that you may have the strength and ability [to be found worthy and] to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man [at His coming].” – verse 36 of Luke 21:7-36
You may even think you are saved, but you are most likely not, if you have this “weighed down…” condition. Are you “weighed down…” as Jesus warns against? Then most likely your confession of faith was not effective. Was your confession accepted by God?

For all the rejectors
The trap (verse 34 in Luke 21:7-36) is for all the rejectors living in the End Times at the end of The Great Tribulation. It will take place after the Rapture. (FYI: In verses 20-24 Jesus predicted the destruction of Jerusalem which took place in 70AD. Then Jesus speaks of times more in the future.)

The trap (verse 34) will not happen to those who are walking with the Lord when the Rapture Return occurs. Why? Because all followers of Christ will have been snatched away by God, “raptured” (“Harpazo” in the original) – before the trap Jesus mentions.
See section The term “Harpazo” inside the article: Jesus will rescue us soon from the wrath to come
A major word from the Lord about the coming End Times is in Revelation 3:10-11:
“I will protect you from the time of testing“
10 You obeyed my message and endured. So I will protect you from the time of testing everyone in all the world must go through. 11 I am coming soon. So hold firmly to what you have, and no one will take away the crown you will be given as your reward.
– Revelation 3:10-11
_________
God is going to Rapture His saints from the face of the earth — prior to allowing His wrath to strike-out, allowing terrible tribulation times on all peoples of the earth. Believe and stay faithful. That must be our response. Take God’s Word seriously.

Don’t be one of the many in the churches (88%?) that will miss the Rapture and then have to be beheaded for their faith if they then come to their senses and turn to Jesus during The Great Tribulation period.
See: Waiting may get you beheaded – sooner than you think
“The master of the house is coming”!
– verse 35 of Mark 13:28-37
FOR MORE:
Jesus predicted that a world-wide trap is going to trounce on the whole world unexpectedly. We are in that predicted time now! But He said He will rescue His followers from that trouncing (Revelation 3:10-11). You ready?
____________
Could it be true that today only 6% of “Christians” are truly born again? 94% not?
“Only 6% of Christians
now hold to a biblical worldview
according to Barna,
while 88% of Christians
borrow from
contradictory worldviews
for their beliefs.”
