Peter opened his mouth and said, “Truly I perceive that God doesn’t show favoritism; but in every nation he who fears (or reveres) him and works righteousness is acceptable to him. – Acts 10:34-35 WEB version
It doesn’t matter who you think you are, God is not impressed. He will judge all of us on an equal basis. And when God calls a sin, “sin”, it is.
“Accepting Christ as your Savior” and then, calling what He calls sin “okay” and permissible!? You, on what basis do you declare anything as “okay” when Holy God condemned it? God says that those who walk that way are still in their sins, under condemnation.
So what in the world are people thinking: Calling themselves “Christians” but contradicting Jesus? 1
Who on earth would contradict God? They appear to be deceived, either self-deceived, or blinded by false teachers and an anti-God culture. There is an awful lot of cognitive dissonance going around (intellectual incongruity).
Is Jesus okay with sin?
How can a deep heart and intelligent mind become so painfully befuddled, to the point that one comes to actually believe that Jesus is okay with sin? Jesus, the perfect Lamb of God, He who was and is sinless to the inth degree? Claiming “Jesus is just alright with me” 2 is not the same as being heart and soul 100% sold-out to Jesus.
Jesus teaches us: no can do. They say: “Yes I can. It’s not really all that bad.” The problem is: “Both cannot be true” (contradiction).
Supposedly “Accepting Christ as your Savior” and then, calling what He condemns as sin – to be “okay” (and permissible before Him)… is not biblical. Ain’t happenin’ in Heaven. Won’t pass the bogus test.
God has a fantastic reward for those who accept Him – but truly accepting Him means you follow Him. See: God’s Fantastic Home – for those who follow Him
When you begin to “tolerate evil“… what you end up with is a bogus salvation. No saving grace happened at that point in time. You will one day discover you have been misunderstanding God (or just plain rejected Him). You, little piggy, are suckling with a mother cat!
There is a saving knowledge of Christ, and there is a false knowledge about Christ. One connects you to God and saves you. The other does not lead to Creator God. Do you know the difference? – Saving Knowledge
You. Hey – On what basis do you declare anything as “okay” when Holy God condemned it? God says that those who walk that way are still in their sins, under condemnation (Romans 1:18-23).
For example, the Bible says, “flee youthful lusts” (2 Timothy 2:22). Maybe they reason: if I am “old” then it isn’t “youthful” lust. Ha! What is it they are enslaved to then? Such thinking is more than buffoonery, it is extreme stubborn foolishness. (It is “buff”-“ornery” thinking.)
What they do: “No problem: I can just redefine things.” They give new nuanced meaning to any sinful behavior they love to practice. And pronounce it “okay”. Presto, change-o. “I don’t like what I read there, face value.” So they “reinterpret” the Bible message. Or, if they are really spiritual, they pretend their word is God’s word (and fake getting a supposed fresh “revelation” from God. Not!)
The problem is we are all dealing with a Holy God. Calling evil, good, is condemned by God. When it comes to what He calls “sin“, God is not tolerant.
It is up to each of us to personally accept what God is offering. Change your “unbelieving heart” (Hebrews 3:12). Put your faith in the message of Christ (Hebrews 4:2-3). Don’t be “hardened by the deceitfulness of sin” (Hebrews 3:13), letting it twist you away from the One True God, Jesus. In Christ there is life eternal in God’s Kingdom. – Source: Why suckling with the mother cat does not make the piglet a kitten
What is your defense?
What are you thinking? Are you thinking you will step into eternity on your own terms?
On That Day, standing in front of the Potter, the Creator who formed you, the God who is the ultimate Judge, what is your defense? “Will I be able to speak at all?” 3 I’d ask, “Will you be able to think at all… quivering on your knees before Almighty God”!?
Trophy Sins… behaviors accepted by obfuscating professing believers
I especially pity the common voting peoples who have empowered evil politicians to lead our country, those who are now making way for more and more evil. What they do, and support, and vote for… show they do not follow what Jesus taught.
What is inside their shiny showcase of “trophy sins” – favored behaviors accepted by professing believers? The Bible teaches that they are actually God damned “believers” who call evil “good”, and obfuscate in order to deceive others (obfuscate: make (something) more difficult to understand).
Trophy Sins – Calling Evil… Good
* Violating human rights doing good business: Over 240 groups say Olympics corporate sponsors aiding China’s human rights violations, demand answers, By Anugrah Kumar
* Supporting and voting for legal abortion – the death of millions of defenseless American babies.
* Saying sex outside of marriage is moral: “60% of professing Christians don’t see anything morally wrong with casual sex outside of marriage.” – Is Sex Outside of Marriage Moral? Is Jesus’ Birth a Myth? 3 Questions — and Answers — About Faith and Life; ByBilly Hallowell.
“We’re living in a time where 60% of professing Christians don’t see anything morally wrong with casual sex outside of marriage.”
* Saying you can get to Heaven even if you don’t believe in God: “A new study from the Pew Research Center shows a majority of Catholic and mainline Christians also believe people who don’t believe in God will go to Heaven.” – Most Catholics, mainline Protestants say faith in God not required to enter Heaven: study; By Leonardo Blair |
The Pew study reveals that many do not believe the Bible to be true:
Interesting: “And while 39% of all American adults, in general, believe people who don’t believe in God can still go to Heaven, 68% of Catholics and 56% of mainline Protestant Christians were found to hold this belief compared to 21% of evangelicals and 31% of Christians from historically black churches.”
And the list goes on and on, concurring with the Devil and His agenda… practicing sin, not following Christ.
Declared evil
These are sins, practices (actions) and beliefs condemned by God – because they violate His Word. These are declared evil (to name a few):
- to abuse humans in any way (ie: violate human rights)
- to abort babies
- to engage in sex outside of marriage
- to teach that anyone can get to Heaven without Jesus (ie: heresy)
God forgives sinners of any sin. But He only forgives repentant sinners. I am so saddened for loved ones and strangers who have fooled themselves into believing God tolerates their sin. A lot of angst in me for them (dictionary: feeling of anxiety, apprehension).
They think they are okay by God. But God thinks not. They will argue all the way to Hell, and not notice where they are until it hurts.
John 14:6
Jesus *said to him,
“I am the way,
and the truth,
and the life;
no one comes to the Father
except through Me.
Failing At Life
The purpose of life is to find eternal life in Jesus. Logic would certainly agree: Going to Hell because of how you lived your life on earth — is certainly “Failing at Life“. My hope for those who are failing at life is this:
“No matter your sin. No matter the gravity of it. No matter how many years. No matter if you are born again or actively atheist…. God loves you, is calling you to Himself, and He wants you to repent and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. He wants you to follow Him.”

That pretty much says it all for me. That’s a wrap, folks (as they say on the movie sets).

What sort of person are you? Excerpt:
Jesus only saves the sinning sinner that draws near to Him (James 4:8) and sincerely repents. We must be “all in” with Him. It’s a matter of the heart, not a matter of how little or how much we sin. The list of sinning saints is a long list (and you’re on it if you’ve been saved!). The one who repents with sincerity and truth — will “serve Him with a blameless heart and a willing mind” (1 Chronicles 28:9).

I am enough Excerpt:
In Christ I am enough. I’ve got it all, nothing needed, nothing missing. I am ready, steady and able because God Himself made me more than human, after all.
I have everything needed, in me, to live a godly life — because of the power of God in me… since that moment in time that God Himself made me a brand new creature inside.
Following the Jesus who was not God
It is bare open Excerpt:
As with little Matt, and the man, and the women, and the friends, and Saul Alinsky, just so with our hearts:
Our hearts are laid bare open by the chocolate we ate, evidences smeared all over the course of our life – our thinking, our words, our actions, our voting record, the places we go, the places we avoid going to, how we treat other people. Before God my heart is bare open.
He knows who I really really am deep down inside my insides. (I myself am still trying to figure it out!)
Are you tolerating evil?
Do you really want to be vile, when being vile will land us in His Courts on That Day, condemned by Creator God the Judge, God-damned forever? Wouldn’t you rather get right with your Creator? Now, before it is too late?

Is Jesus’ worldview your worldview?
Ashamed of yourself? Excerpt: Have you ever done something you are ashamed of? God does not overlook and excuse sin (Romans 1: verse 18). Never has. Never will. However, Jesus dealt with the sins of others in a much more merciful manner than we tend to do with our self and our sins – and the sins of others. Is your brain noggin talkin’ negative or positive? Biblical or what?
We humans tend to get it all wrong when it comes to dealing with sinfulness, shame and guilt and condemning.
Here is what the Bible teaches:
1. First: Sin is horrible
2. The Bible teaches that we all are sinners.
3. Evil is progressive.
4. Turn shame into repentance.
5. God, however, is full of mercy and grace.
6. Jesus is The Way.
7. All or nothing.
