A warning from Isaiah 17:11
…describing life on earth rejecting God – and the day of reckoning
– Isaiah 17:11
You plant your life so carefully, “fence it in”, secure, protected. “You bring your seed to blossom” – all your hoeing rows aligned. And after all is said and done, as “promising as it is”, one day you’re done, you die. And that promising harvest becomes “a heap of ruins that passes away”.
That, my friend, is coming “In the day of sickness and incurable pain“. Ready or not…. Jesus promised He’d return.
Isaiah 17:10-11…describes life on earth rejecting God – and the coming day of reckoning
10 Because you [Judah] have forgotten the God of your salvation
And have not remembered the Rock of your Stronghold—
Therefore you plant [c]lovely plants
And set the grounds with vine slips of a strange god,
11 In the day that you plant it you carefully fence it in,
And in the morning you bring your seed to blossom;
Yet [promising as it is] the harvest will be a heap [of ruins that passes away]
In the day of sickness and incurable pain.

A God Damn Excerpt: The Santa Claus god
However, many today want a belly laughing “ho ho ho”, roly-poly MerWeb Santa Claus god.
This modern day god: has no predilections, no predispositions, and never gets upset with anything we do or ask for. This god goes with the flow. This god of ours accepts it all, whatever we want. He has no bias, no prejudice against anything. He has no fixed, predetermined intolerances. What you are, whatever – he’s down with that! This “Claus God” has been created for our convenience.
There is a broad road that says Heaven but goes to Hell
Hell in the Bible Excerpt: “Hell is a hot damn.” Why hell? It comes from a judicial sentence of condemnation by God for those who reject Him: Satan, demons, non-believers – the unsaved humans.
Note: Hell is not just where we (those there) sit in a lake of fire burning up forever. It is described with all these words (not just fire): the second death…the nether world, Sheol, Gehenna, Hades….
Hell Is Home Excerpt:
