I am writing this to you, an apostate Christian. I am concerned for you. You are part of a Counterfeit Kingdom.
And I am writing to apostates without the “Christian” label. And also… to you who are not even aware of a “falling away” in these End Times.
You may even be attending a church that is apostate — and not know it! For this post: Let’s assume you are apostate. Do you want to know more about this biblical predicament you are in? This is for you:
- What makes a believer in Jesus “apostate“?
- Why are apostate beliefs so damning?
- Let’s count the ways.
___________
What makes you “apostate”…an NAR-type believer, a Mormon, a Buddist…
A large percentage of apostates are you NAR-type believers out there, pagan wandering stars. You are one of the many who refuse to admit your sin:
You cannot be saved as-is,
because
you practice what God is against.
Know your terms. Truth – Apostate – Antithetical – Heritical. Read about the many tell-tale signs by Dr. Roger Barrier from Casas Church in Tucson, Arizona, here: What Is a Cult? The 6 Telltale Signs to Look For. 1
Why are apostate beliefs so damning? Let’s count the ways.
Apparently most of you NAR-types don’t realize what it is that you are into. You have the “Christian label” but you are not really Christian. Other apostates have no “Christian” label, and they don’t know they are called “apostates” in Scripture either, like: Mormons, Jehova Witnesses, Buddists, and most Catholics (I say “most Catholics are apostate” because Catholicism errs in so many ways that “getting saved” is not a priority, and many miss personally accepting God’s forgiveness.)
Why so damning?…they do not follow and obey
Apostate beliefs are so damn damning because they do not follow and obey what Jesus taught. And they do not follow and obey what His disciples taught. It somehow escaped their notice that – the Way to salvation always involves obedience to Jesus.
What escapes your notice?
Maybe you had a “cracked heart” back then… and God did not accept your confession? Maybe you actually had an unrepentant heart?
What are your religious practices?
What have you been practicing in your Charismatic religion? Are you adding your NAR-type Charismatic practices to God’s Sin List?
* Making-up your own thinking (See: They in fact have seen nothing) and calling it a revelation from God…?
* Claiming “I have a word from God and calling it “God’s Word”…?
* Making God speak your own words…?
* Twisting Scripture – changing God’s Word so you can deny the Old Testament…?
* Gyrating wildly “in the Spirit” like a Kundalini Hindu Spirit does for the Hindus…? Is the Holy Spirit helping you copy the Hindu Kundalini? I think not.
Dang! And you do it as a matter of practice, not willing to repent and call it sin? That is every bit as damning as the sins on God’s Sin List 1 Timothy 1:6-11. You are effectively running with sin and calling it “just fine with me”. I think God has added your disobedient Charismatic practices to His Sin List. 2
_______
For this post we are assuming you are apostate. So: Scripture considers you to be a counterfeit Christian. Still not saved yet, you are into a counterfeit faith that replicates the true Gospel of Jesus, but isn’t it. Like a counterfeit USA dollar, your brand of Christianity is worthless.
Your $1 dollar faith is not worth $1. “Looks like, feels like, buys like“… but it’s counterfeit. What everlasting good is that!? Nobody ever wanted a counterfeit dollar! God doesn’t need one.
Entrance into the Eternal
The GateKeeper of the Pearly Gates will not give you entrance into Eternity with God. Entrance is not granted to apostates! Entrance is denied to deniers of the true, real Gospel.
Without realizing it, what you have, what the apostate has is – a diluted Jesus’ teaching. It’s not what it seems. It trapped you. Hook line and sinker…you swallowed the lie.
You (1) can live the way you want –
or (2) you can give your life to the gatekeeper of Heaven — Jesus.
– Source: What you think and practice as compared with what Jesus thinks
When it comes to the Gospel, the apostate teachers have added-to-it Mark 7:8, making it something else. So, what you have with the apostate’s faith in Christ is bogus, like the Catholic’s limited truth. False messages from God, and “tradition of men”…are useless when it comes to getting saved.
You disregard
and neglect
the commandment of God,
and cling [faithfully] to
the tradition of men.”
– Mark 7:8

Jeremiah spoke out about apostate faith:
8 “Behold, you are trusting in deceptive and useless words that bring no benefit… and [then dare to] come and stand before Me in this house, which is called by My [a]Name, and say, ‘We are protected and set free [by this act of religious ritual]!’—only to go on with this wickedness and these disgusting and loathsome things?”
– Jeremiah 7:8-10
a counterfeit faith…
replicates the true Gospel of Jesus,
but isn’t it
What you have? Isn’t it! Read it and weep. NAR-type Charismatics follow false prophets. They follow false apostles. They follow false teachers.
What these have given you is false faith, false hope, false confidence…. It’s all false – not of God.
The Bible says these apostate leaders give you “deceptive and useless words that bring no benefit” Jeremiah 7:8-10 and actually lead you away from salvation. You are far from ‘…protected and set free [by this act of religious ritual]!’ Jeremiah 7:8-10 – whatever it is your church leaders lead you into praticing. As if your mindset is protected by God!
Scripture says you are “not of us“. “You are not of God”, Jesus said.
Still not saved yet,
you are into
a counterfeit faith
that replicates
the true Gospel of Jesus,
but isn’t it.
How horrifying is that?! The most horrifying. There is no horror bigger than that.

What knowing the Bible does for you
Counterfeit Spirit of God Excerpt: Counterfeit Christianity is growing. Do you know the Bible well enough to spot a counterfeit church? Are you into one – yourself?
The Bible warns of “seducing spirits” within the church “in later times“. It warns about those church leaders who teach and delve into non-biblical practices. Beware of fake charismatic churches and pastors who follow a counterfeit spirit of god – those who teach extra-biblical experiences….
Many false teachings are basing their beliefs and doctrines on experience – allowing experiences to trump the Word of God. Experience-based religion is not true Christian faith. They negate what God has already told us in the Bible. True Christianity bases everything on the Bible, not on experiences.

I am…
About rejecting prophecying and special words of knowledge Excerpt: Where are these “prophets” and “prophecies” coming from? …Basically 99% of it is coming from apostates: apostate churches like Bethel in Redding CA, apostate believers sitting in pews all over the world, and false prophets, false apostles and false teachers. They are in the NAR-type Charismatic movement.
The “form of evil” v22 is the practicing of gifts unbiblically. Practicing what God has forbidden? That is evil. Since Old Testament times – that is evil. And it is still not OK by God. “I am against you”, God says 3

NARers profess false doctrines such as the following:
- NARers make generic prophecies (not specific actual Words from God), so they cannot be proven mistaken later (!)
- NARer miracles are never proven (like Peter’s healing where the lame man went “walking and leaping and praising God” in Acts 3:8),
- NARer new “revelations” contradict Scripture,
- NARers get messages from dead people (!),
- NARers “shift atmospheres” (!),
- NARers promise to “bring Heaven to Earth” (so, are things getting better now?),
- NARers exhibit “bizarre manifestations”,
- NARers claim the ability “to think like God”,
- NARers take trips to Heaven,
- NARers talk to angels,
- NARers experience angels visit them (like the angel called Moroni did with Joseph Smith multiple times starting in 1823. Purportedly “guiding him to the golden plates that were later translated into the Book of Mormon.” source),
- NARers seek guidance through “Destiny Readings”,
- NARers seek after the mantles of their dead heroes and ask for “double portions”,
- NARers believe in miraculous “increase and breakthrough”,
- NARers believe in “Dominion theology”,
- NARers believe God owes them health, wealth and success,
- NARers believe they have ability to perform miracles,
- NARers believe in omens,
- NARers believe God always wants to heal us,
- NARers claim they can “name it and claim it” – they can speak into existence their imaginings, make reality.

Are you adding your Charismatic practices to God’s Sin List? Making-up your own thinking (See: They in fact have seen nothing) and calling it a revelation from God, claiming “I have a word from God and calling it “God’s Word”, making God speak your own words, misrepresenting God, twisting Scripture – changing God’s Word so you can deny the Old Testament…?
Dang! And you do it as a matter of practice, not willing to repent and call it sin?
They were not really of us Excerpt: 1 John 2:18-19 explains why so many are so critical of true believers:
“19 They went out from us
[seeming at first to be Christians],
but they were not really of us
[because they
were not truly born again
and spiritually transformed]”
See these 4 passages in one link or: 1 John 2:18-19, 1 Timothy 4:1; 1 Timothy 6:3-5; 1 Timothy 1:3-7.

Deviating from Scripture. How they do it, these Bethel Prophets and Pastors
“You are not of God”, Jesus said…It’s all false. This is applicable to NAR-types.
Why might many Charismatics not be saved…Why the NAR-types are “God-damned believers“
What you think and practice as compared with what Jesus thinks Excerpt:
So, what do you think? Are you conforming to the world (as in Romans 12:2), or conforming your worldview to Jesus’ worldview? It makes a Hell of a difference.
Are you “world conformed” or are you “Jesus conformed”? Your worldview divides eternity for you, as it lands you either on Jesus’ side of eternity, or …that other place.

* Beware of false teachers who promise water, but are “clouds without water” Jude 1:12
* Beware of mere religions that imprison you in man-made philosophies
* Beware of betting your eternity on your own thinking, clinging to your faith about God, rejecting Jesus’ teachings. After all – who do you think you are, anyway?
* Beware of your hatred. Hating is life changing – eternal life changing. Scary thought.
There comes a time to stand for Jesus, or deny Jesus. Has your “faith” led you astray to where you are actually denying Jesus? Dangerous place to be at.
You cannot be saved as-is,

you practice what God is against.

Changing what God started Excerpt: What are the ramifications of changing something? It’s like:
-
- If I start out with 100% cows milk, and then add chocolate to it, I then no longer have 100% milk! Simple, right? I have a totally different drink, which we call by a different name: chocolate milk. It is not milk any more! It is chocolate milk.

I have left plain hydrogen, and now have “another element”, which we know as H2O. It is now called “Water”… something totally distinct from plain old Hydrogen.

Different make-up. Different element.
False teachers like NAR type leaders continue to use the name “Christian” even though they have become “a different element”. They do this because they are deceivers.

A God Damn Excerpt: The Santa Claus god
However, many today want a belly laughing “ho ho ho”, roly-poly Santa Claus god. This modern day god:
has no predilections, no predispositions, and never gets upset with anything we do or ask for. This god goes with the flow. This god of ours accepts it all, whatever we want. He has no bias, no prejudice against anything. He has no fixed, predetermined intolerances. What you are, whatever – he’s down with that! This “Claus God” has been created for our convenience.
We fool ourselves so easily. Anything we kind of like, or really like, or really really are into… is fine with our “Claus God”. It’s easy to follow this “god”. Claus has no limits on us!

- Summary: (Copied from the crosswalk.com site)
First, the most dastardly, insidious mark of a cult is that it ignores or distorts the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Second, most cults are led by a dynamic, charismatic leader who eventually controls and manipulates his or her followers.
Third, surprisingly, most cult leaders grew up in a Christian environment.
Fourth, cult leaders tend to ignore, confuse, add to, and/or demean the Bible’s teachings.
Fifth, cults use devious methods to trap, deceive, and control their followers.
Sixth, people join cults for a number of reasons: 2 Timothy 4:3-4, Ephesians 4:14.
