God does not overlook and excuse sin. However, Jesus dealt with the sins of others in a much more merciful manner than we tend to do with our self, “our” sins – and the sins of others. Are you “biblical” with sin and shame?
My needy, needy soul
My needy, needy soul needs to stay close to Creator God who formed me. We all do, wouldn’t you agree? God our Maker is still very involved in His creation, still. He desires to be intimately involved.
Make Self Talk… God Talk. It goes on and on and on
Speaking to God silently inside your mind: God-Talk… is praying to God without voicing it out loud. “Self Talk” and “God Talk”- He sees into your thoughts, your feelings, your intentions, your falseness or genuineness, your honesty or lies, what you really are inside of your mind and heart.”
This is natural for us so put it on
Because the true believer is enabled by God through the Holy Spirit (He resides in all who are born again) there is a lot of what is “natural” to us now. But we must “put it on” (verse 12 of Colossians 3:12-17).
Self-talk prayer
All that self-talk we all engage our minds in throughout the day? We can direct it to conversations with God. That is just so totally awesome!
Ashamed of Yourself?
Have you ever done something you are ashamed of? God does not overlook and excuse sin (Romans 1: verse 18). Never has. Never will. However, Jesus dealt with the sins of others in a much more merciful manner than we tend to do with our self and our sins – and the sins of others. Is your brain noggin talkin’ negative or positive? Biblical or what?
Jesus Knows Your Thoughts
God is able to see into the innermost parts of your heart. He knows what you feel. He knows what you want. He knows your thoughts. Even before you speak a word — He knows what you are going to say! God hears me as I speak to him silently in my mind – in prayer.
Conversations With God
All that self-talk we all engage our minds in throughout the day? “Talk it” to God. You can direct all your self-talk to God as prayer.
