Scripture says it loud and clear: It is not what you SAY, but what you DO, that counts with God. Read it here: Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many […]
Following Someone
Are you ready to meet your Maker? Have you considered the possibility that someday God might reject you? Do you truly “follow” Him?
Genuine Or False
Are you genuine? “The real thing?” If Jesus put you on trial, would there be enough evidence to prove you guilty of being a born again Christian?!
God’s Normal
There are several lists in Scripture showing us what IS part of the normal Christian life. We each must search “our inner self”. Do you know that God indeed sees you in this way? Do you truly “walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called…?” (Ephesians 4: verse 1). God knows. Here are four passages of what “normal” looks like:
Practicing Sin, Not Following Christ
Are you practicing sin? Is there sin you constantly practice? Have you grown accustomed to accepting [“your” sin] as okay with God? Are you okay with the practices of your life? Scripture teaches us very clearly what is obviously …NOT following Christ. In fact, we are warned that “that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” You are not following Christ if this is characteristic of you: Galatians 5:16-21.
Following
Where’ you going? Are you truly “following” Christ? This is what it means to be “a follower” of the real Jesus Christ…
Sonship
I thank God Almighty a million x a million-million-million (to the 10th power) for granting me sonship in His forever family. Do you? Think about it. I am bound for a heavenly home. I am so grateful. According to Jesus’ gospel, I stand before you, and God, and all His angels all around me, with a decree by God Himself, sealed in His Book of Life, granting me eternal, un-revokable status in His Kingdom —— as His own child.
Ambassadors
An ambassador “represents” something or someone or some belief. God has us here to represent Him. Who you representing?
What We Are To Be
All in one passage, Romans 12, Paul presents a thorough explanation of what God is expecting of those who want to be a true Christian. The message of James is the same: we’ve got to back-up our talk with our walk.
Put It On
God created you able to do so much, now that you are born again and created brand new inside (2 Corinthians 5:11-17). Put it on, let it become natural to you… all that His Holy Spirit enables in your new life in Christ… Colossians 3:5-25.
Dreams and Visions
All over the world people are having dreams of Jesus appearing to them personally in their sleep. They are even conversing back and forth with Jesus in dreams! God is using dreams and visions today.
God – The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is One in the Triune God. As born-again believers, followers of Christ… we have God Himself in us. The Holy Spirit, God in the form of a Spirit, was promised by Jesus as he left the earth after His resurrection from the dead.
Who Are You In Christ?
Do you know who you are? If you are truly in Christ – you are much more than what many believers think they are! See this interactive document by CGrobler.
Who Do You Think You Are?
Who on earth do you think you are? One day we will all stand before God. If we are born again, He is our Daddy (“Abba”), and we will be home! But, whether you believe in Him or not – He is our Creator God. And He, not you, will be calling the shots. Ready for that?
Looking at Others
What do you think of others? Do you size-them-up: know their sins and think less of them, or think they are great because you like how they look or like how much they have? Remember that God does not wait for us to be perfect. He wants us to come to Him just as we are, now. Even so, even as Christ, no matter the sin – we love the sinner. There is no excuse for us to put-down another. There is no sin too great – nothing that God cannot forgive.
IF You Follow Me
Scripture says IF we follow Christ, then we are worthy of Him. The very real reverse implication is – if we are NOT following Him in our daily living… then we are not worthy to stand in His presence on That Day. Scary thought.
Humbleness Before God
One might ask: What might the Church have done that could have slowed down today’s relativism and our entitlement culture? The answer: Nothing. God set His Church in motion, right behind Christ’s death, right? So everything was optimal for us. The Holy Spirit now indwelt the believer. All the teachings were there for us. All […]
Are You Known By Your Love?
Remember the time Jesus was harsh, irritated, argumentative, hateful? Nope. That’s because He never was! How are you known? Are you known by your hatred of something? Or are you known for your love? Where is the love? Show me by how you treat me.
That Moment In Time
There is a certain moment in time when everything changes, when a mere human is transformed by God into a completely different type of human. That moment changes everything for that person. Nothing is the same anymore. A new creature has been born – really and truly “born again” into new life in Christ. This magic moment!
Accepting What God Rejects
These days a troubling question is, “How far from God’s values can I stray, and still be “following Him”? Do I accept what God rejects? Life, ultimately, is not about what I think – it is about God, and what He has declared.

Miracles God has done in my life
PIC: Alan, Dennis, Peter The study of Joshua 3:1-17 to 4:1-7 talks about the crossing of the Jordan river. Joshua wanted the 12 tribes of Israel to be recognized and so the Israelis built an altar of 12 stones as a monument to them. And each time someone saw those 12 stones they would be […]
Fighting the Good Fight
When I accepted God´s offer of salvation, God then and there forgave me and accepted me as His child. The battle is then to maintain our life holy, strong in Him. Even after becoming a child of the King, we have the option to ¨offer our body to sin¨(Romans 6) and shipwreck this life we live on earth. Once we are His, we are then to live in a manner that pleases our Jesus Christ – our Lord.

Punishment and Reward
There are punishment and rewards because God is just (Deuteronomy 32:4), and what we sow we do reap (Galatians 6:7-8). But that does not mean that there does not exist another side to suffering. Jesus suffered death so that we could have eternal life (John 6:47, 50; Titus 1:2; 1 John 5:11).
Should you forgive even though no confession is made?
Some say yes, that you should forgive those who do not ask forgiveness. Others say no, that the person should not be forgiven until they repent and then you can forgive them. Those that say you should forgive an unrepentant person use verses like Colossians 3:13 that say, “Bear with each other and forgive whatever […]
Giving of Tithes and Offerings
We are servants of Christ, stewards of what he entrusts into our hands. Biblically, our giving belongs to His Church – not to our local body of believers. Those who serve the Lord in ministry are deserving of receiving support from His Church.
