We are still living in the period of time called “the first things” (Revelation 21:4). The mystery of what God wants for us – has been made known to us in the Bible. Are you following His will? In the midst of all the uncertainties of living these days, our trust must always be placed in God’s Hands. There is no better option.
Another hint about the Rapture
There is another hint about the Rapture. It’s in 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8. There is a timeline for the End Times events. No actual date however!
I fear no evil
I fear no evil because “Even though I walk through the [sunless] valley of the shadow of death [a valley of deep darkness]… You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort and console me. – Psalm 23:4
Now I belong to Jesus
I belong to Jesus. How ’bout you? What kind of commitment did YOU make to Jesus?
A whopper of a spider tale
Ever wonder just how much God and His angels watch over you. Well, the Bible says Jesus watches over you very carefully.
Oh to be like the Tewksbury Institute floor maid
One of the better stories I have read in a long time – touring Tewksbury Institute.
Better times – forever young
Better times are coming soon… when Jesus returns. But oh how I remember those romantic dreamy days back in the 60s and 7os when I was young.
It is bare open
The other day a man walked through the door of a bar in the countryside. I could see where his heart was, deep inside him, because a well-beaten path led back to his own door. His heart was bare open, plain to see. Our hearts are laid bare open by …the evidences smeared all over the course of our life.
What joy and exhilaration – soon
What extreme joy and exhilaration we will have – when we physically unite together in the heavens with Jesus.
I’ve got that joy
I’ve got that joy. Do “you greatly rejoice”, and “delight with inexpressible and glorious joy”? You can. But “you must be born again” (Jesus said).
Keep your mind focused on God
“Rain falls on the just and the unjust alike.” God is like that with us.
1st Epistle of Jerusalem
What epistle are you “writing” with your life – this moment, this day, this month… as you march to your ending moment? We all, followers of Jesus, have been commissioned as Ambassadors to represent Jesus on earth. How is that going for you?
Why we fear
Fear breaks the dams in my gut. Ever felt fear – like vise grips tightened over your heart? Felt red raw fear? Solutions are not “Automated Jesus Answers”. Each fear I have, I have to deal with — each time. I deal with them, anew. The Lord is with me at all times, so, really: What have I to fear? What have I to dread? Philippians 4:4-7.
Two roads to die for
Life is full of choices. You know? The biggest choice we all make, one way or another, is: Are you going with God?
Be full of joy – because of this…
There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. – Romans 8:1,37-39
Feeling Insignificant
Feeling insignificant — there is a reason I don’t shrink into a dark hole of waaah (where they “call whine-one-one” for a “wahmbulance”). What could become despair, is slowly drawn to hope….
Maintain yourself faithful – out of loyalty to Christ
If we face death because of our faith in Christ, we can be confident knowing that He is with us all the way. He alone is our hope. “Fear not.” At the moment of our death – we put on Immortality.
Saying no to Jesus is a dead faith with dead works
God calls His followers to reject sin (2 Corinthians 7:1), all that He calls “sin”, and press on to our upward calling (Philippians 3:12-14). Fake faith does not fool God.
About Sin
Key truths about sin as taught in the Bible. What is sin, and what is God’s stance about it?
Living the good life – with courage and confident hope
What a terrific way to live life – being “of good courage and confident hope”. Living with good courage and being confident with hope – comes as a result of living God’s way, staying within what God intended, living “God’s Normal”. Let’s look at this as the Apostle Paul laid it out.
Transformed In Heaven
This is what we will become – transformed in heaven.
Jesus is stronger
Jesus is stronger and He wins in the end. And because I am in Christ I am stronger than all the enemies of my soul, and I win in the end. Jesus saved me, brought me up and out of the miry clay. And He will bring me into His Kingdom called Heaven when I die. Hallelujah!
I run to win! Christ did. Do you?
What is due to Jesus, because of what He has done for you? He died for you, for me, for all sinners alike. So – what should be our response to Him?
Heaven for us – starts when we die
Heaven for us – starts when we die. Heaven is joy and goodness everywhere – always – where only the goodness of God surrounds us.
The reality for us now
The reality for us now is “Christ has in fact been raised from the dead”. The mystery of the Gospel has been revealed – and fulfilled by the Messiah
Patiently bear undeserved suffering. “This finds favor with God”
1 Peter 2:20-25 Amplified Bible 20 After all, what kind of credit is there if, when you do wrong and are punished for it, you endure it patiently? But if when you do what is right and patiently bear [undeserved] suffering, this finds favor with God. Christ Is Our Example 21 For [as a believer] you have […]
My Pact with God
In recognition of God as my Creator, my Father in Heaven, in affirmation of my relationship to Him as His born again child, I hereby make the following statements as “My Pact with God”
Seeing change in your heart
Are you ready to meet Jesus face-to-face on that day? Are you seeing change in your heart – since you “became a Christian”? We absolutely will see change towards godliness in our life… when the Holy Spirit enters into us. If you’re not seeing change towards Him, perhaps you never turned towards Him. Perhaps you never got saved, ever. But it’s not too late.
Our two homes
All our life we deal with the complexities of “owning” two homes: “the home of the body” and our “home with the Lord”. What predominates your living from day to day? Jesus promised as He was leaving earth, going away in the clouds – that He would prepare a place for us in His Home – called Heaven (John 14). Read: Jesus will return soon, just as He left
