The actual translation of John 1:1-5 (NASB version) states: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him […]
Show me actual false teachings
False teachers don’t come looking like The Walking Dead! If they did – we’d know to stay away from their teachings! They come to churches “dressed as sheep [appearing gentle and innocent]” but actually on the inside they are horrible, “ravenous wolves”. What are actual false teachings “out there”? What are the teachings contrary to what Jesus and the Apostle Paul taught?
Be careful that no one misleads you
Jesus said, “Be careful that no one misleads you [deceiving you and leading you into error]. I am the only one responsible for my eternal soul. Same for you. Right? If someone deceives me, convincing me, leading me into a false religious cult, there will be no recourse for me in the Courts of Heaven. If I refuse to listen to and accept what God is telling me in His Word, the Bible, there will be no excuse for me on that day. Be careful that no one misleads you.
Needing something more than Jesus
If in your faith in Christ — you are also needing something more than Jesus, then you are most likely being led astray, taught by a counterfeit charismatic movement leader or a New Age church. These charming charmers, false teachers, “turn away from the faith, paying attention instead to deceitful and seductive spirits and doctrines of demons”.
It’s all or nothing
What you say is absolutely worthless – without all of you behind it in action. I think what God is saying here is: It’s all or nothing.
It’s Time
Time, by God, is totally different from time as experienced by man on earth. Time will be no more — in heaven. Heaven will be a Timeless Infinite Continuum.
Conflicts Because of Opinion
It is just so easy these days to offend others because of opinions. It’s happening all across America. What is going on!?
Pick a Sin – Any Sin
Scripture mentions “the sin which so easily entangles us” (Hebrews 12:verse 1). What is yours? I do not want to be like drunk people, like a dog, like a pig… Isaiah 19:14; Proverbs 26:11; 2 Peter 2:22. How about you?
Who Do You Believe?
Who you gonna believe? Believe in yourself – or believe in the miracle of God’s Word to us?
Right on Time

It is what it is: The Bible Is God’s Word To Us
Over the course of hundreds of years, the Bible was put together by God — so that we could come to believe that Jesus is God Himself come down to earth to redeem a people to Himself, the Messiah, Son of God. God put the Bible together by inspiring writers with His message. Have you read it for what it is – God’s word to mankind? It is important to not read-into-it, not remove what makes us uncomfortable, not reject portions of the Bible where it says what we do not want to hear!
What God Thinks You Are
Who does God think you are? God tells us that He values those He has created. You are of such great worth that God became a human for you, died on a cross for you. That’s huge!
Isaiah 53

And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? 2 For He grew up before Him like a tender [a]shoot, And like a root out of parched ground; He has no stately form or majesty That we should […]
Blasphemy
Taking the name of the Lord God in vain, blasphemy, is not a matter of words as much as a matter of the heart. It is all in the context. Oh my God! Contrast the use. See this phrase here, Psalm 59:1, where the Psalmist says it to God [and Psalm 83:13 in a prayer], […]
Your Way or God’s Way
We can not reach God on our own. But God, for some unfathomable reason, reached down from His heavens, and made a way for us to reach Him. Jesus left His lofty realm to become a common man, reaching into our world through birth as a baby. By this, He provided a way to bridge the vast chasm that separates mankind from Holy God.
Titus on: What the Word of God Teaches
Jesus came down to earth. That was when it could then be said: “the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men.”
Reconsider Your Life
Life is not all that long, and sometimes it is cut short. Have you really taken stock of your life, and thought about your end game? Are you ready to meet God face-to-face?
Examine Yourselves
The Bible exhorts us to periodically examine our self and make sure we are in the faith. Don’t get caught standing before God Himself and discover there that you are NOT His follower!
Jesus Is Honoring Muslims Today
All over the Muslim areas of the world, Jesus is honoring Muslims with dreams and visions. Jesus is calling Muslims to Himself, calling them to believe in Him and follow Him. Would you feel honored if Jesus appeared to you in a dream? I certainly would. It would be the most exciting dream I have […]
Fear This
There are a few things in life that you sure as Hell need to fear. Ever really thought about this?
Be a little more Christian
It seems so few know what the Bible really says about “being a Christian”. A Christian is not a name you yourself can define however you want. There is no meaning at all if anything can be whatever you want it to be. Funny one should call himself “Christian”, but say it does not matter what you believe! How rational is that? Do you know how the Bible defines “Christian”?
No Sin – No Problem
Want to have sin when you go before The Judge? What the Hell? Don’t you want to go to Heaven? Only Jesus Messiah was “without sin”. Me, you… not a chance. We need His pure forgiveness!
Look at the Life of Jesus
The life of Jesus, the Godman, was packed into 33 years on earth. Interesting – what we learn about Him and what He endured.
Issues of Honor
.Ephesians 6:1-4 Both the Jewish and Greek-Roman writers agreed that children from the ages 1 to 13 needed to honor and obey their parents. To honor one’s parents was to not bring shame on them in a godly society (Deut. 21:18-21). To honor was very synonymous with obeying them. In Luke 2:41-52 we find the […]
Near Death
What is this obsession with tales people tell about their time while unconscious!? How come so much stock is placed on the word of comatose or near-death people!? I understand the interest in death and dying, but why do so many people immediately believe their tales as true?

Written to adults in Children’s Church Ministries.
