…Focusing for Success
In 2005 TDF e-Net spoke with Rod Hairston, president of Envision U Inc. in Leesburg, Va., about the connection between breaking boards and personal effectiveness.
Personal Effectiveness
-
Know your outcome (creating a vision is key) and get
fully associated with that outcome. Make it big, bold and
audacious. Let it make you a little bit nervous. -
Take an honest look at the habits you have now that
aren’t getting you the results you desire and decide to
abolish them. -
Design new habits and find some outstanding role models.
Ask a million questions about the mindset and strategies
that helped the people you admire to achieve success. -
Focus your imagination: In other words, remember that
what you focus on – you find. What you focus on seems real.
What you focus on grows. What you focus on – you become.
You will never achieve your goals until you believe that you can. -
Implement your new plan, fail, implement again, fail
again, then implement again. Persist, persist and keep on
persisting until you have achieved your goals.
