There is so much that I just do not understand. Why this, why that…?
I refuse to refuse Jesus
Well, rather than blame God, rant and rage, or refuse to fall-in-line with certain difficult teachings of Jesus… I have chosen to trust that God understands more than I. I refuse to refuse Jesus. Are you refusing Jesus on the basis of what you don’t understand?
When I don’t like what He appears to support, I confess my exasperation with Him and ask Him to enlighten me on that. I treat it as my inability to understand Almighty God. There are many things WAY beyond my limited thinking, beyond any human’s genius.
All the matters that trouble me in thought, in principles, in doctrines of the Bible… I lay at Jesus’ feet, submitting my thought to His Way. Submitting my actions to His Way.
I refuse to blame God and follow the ways of the world just because I don’t like the way things are. After all, who am I to question Jesus Himself? Can I expect to understand His realm… when nobody can explain even what electricity is!?
An attitude before our Father
As my father used to say, correcting his impudent son: “Who do you think you are?!”
That little rebellious streak is also what was in the mind and heart of the rich young ruler seeking to justify his thinking before Jesus. Our natural thinking is not one of submission to God. In the natural, we hate to submit to anything! So the ruler went away sad, because Jesus replied to him, “One thing you lack.”
To you who still have that little impudent place in your heart, an attitude before our Father who is in Heaven, I recommend the article, God’s Think. The FOR MORE section (at the end) has much to think about also.

Are you still looking for loopholes? Or are you still in that rut, doing religion and philosophizing?
3 how will we escape [the penalty] if we ignore such a great salvation [the gospel, the new covenant]? For it was spoken at first by the Lord, and it was confirmed to us and proved authentic by those who personally heard [Him speak] – Hebrews 2: verse 3
Are you so mired in the mud of vile values, that one day, of a sudden, you will be revealed as having a hardened heart, your soul not actually regenerated, the truth be told – never been born again? Have you let your living actually be comformed to this world, living a lifestyle given over to what is not of God? Would you call that “following Him”? – Source: Signs of an unrepentant heart
What separates sinners from Holy God
Rather than stay in rebellious thought and harden my heart, sticking to “my way”, I have confessed my sinfulness and shortcomings. I have bowed my will to His. How about you?
After all, what separates sinners from Holy God, is not sins. God already took care of the sin issue by dying on a cross for us. What’s still separating sinners from God is — a rebellious, impudent heart that refuses to bow before Him in repentence with sincerity and truth.
I am so saddened to think of the many, world-wide, still not knowing they are still God damned “believers”, whom God will surprise on the Day of Judgement, by saying to them,
-
Matthew 7:23 …‘I never knew you; depart from Me [you are banished from My presence], you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].’
-
Luke 13:27 …‘I do not know where you are from; depart from Me, all you evildoers!’
The Rapture takes all true believers
All born again believers will leave earth suddenly in the Rapture. All of them. If you are surprised by missing-out on the Rapture (which is coming soon), this is why: Going to hell is not about your sins. It’s about your heart. Where is your heart?
Don’t let “things” bog you down – eternally. “Farther along we’ll understand why” (song by Brad Paisley).
