Heaven will be awe-full and law-less.
- …filled-up full with unending awe of the One-and-Only, the wonderfully awesome God.
- …filled-up full with overflowing love that voids any need for laws. Love will rule inside our insides.
The peace of God will rule inside our hearts. This will be commonplace. Everyone around. Imagine that!
15 Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always]. – Colossians 3:15 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Imagine Heaven as home.
My best day here – it’s not even on the graph of heaven’s pleasure chart. Nothing here comes even close to how much better “good” will be, and be forever – there. Always high – up on that chart. Always constant. No bad days. – Source: My best day here
Love will be a constant quadrillion aroma. Sweet. Every one around you – with an attitude… a love attitude, in all we think, in all we want, in all we feel, in all we say, in all we do. Every moment of timeless infinity. (There’ll be no “time”, no “eons”. Incomprehensible now.)
Always forgiving, never condemning. Never upset. Never a frown of sadness. No tears. Always up, never down… inside our soul and on our face. Always a smile, always for-real-cheerful.
Sin will be no more. No more danger, no more darkness, no more sin, no roaring lion at our heels, for Satan’s bound, and Holy Holy Holy God will have finalized His plan for the ages. We will have finally reached our “inheritance which is imperishable [beyond the reach of change] and undefiled and unfading….”
Peter shows us: We will be living, at last, in that place (Yahooo!), what was “reserved in heaven for you“, what was “ready to be revealed [for you] in the last time“. We will finally not need “faith”, as we will touch with our hands the real thing, salvation realized, what was – during earth time, “protected and shielded by the power of God” through our faith.
…to an ever-living hope and confident assurance through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 [born anew] into an inheritance which is imperishable [beyond the reach of change] and undefiled and unfading, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are being protected and shielded by the power of God through your faith for salvation that is ready to be revealed [for you] in the last time…. – 1 Peter 1:3-5
Everlasting hope and joy will fill our innermost being. Yahooo hope! Yahooo joy! Forever. Contentment will never leave us. There’ll be no more death, no sorrow, no mourning, no crying, no pain – only gladness and joy absolutely beaming.
Ours will be a constant “gentle and peaceful spirit, [one that is calm and self-controlled, not overanxious, but serene and spiritually mature] which is very precious in the sight of God” (1 Peter 3:4). Finally! Happy we will be forever – because God is good, and we are at rest in Him.
Our perishable bodies, though now afflicted in oh so many ways – will be imperishable and immortal, perfectly “A-OK” to the core, new like Christ’s new body when He resurrected. Wow. “Even so, come, Lord Jesus!”
“…we will all be [completely] changed
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,
at [the sound of] the last trumpet call.
For a trumpet will sound,
and the dead [who believed in Christ]
will be raised imperishable,
and we will be [completely] changed
– 1 Corinthians 15:verses 51-52
