Scenario: God Almighty “interviews” Don Lemon

Scene One: Don Lemon is kneeling before the Judge of All

Here’s the imaginary dialog on That Day when we all meet God before His throne.

Dialog

Jesus: So, Don Lemon, I know all about you.  You said I was not perfect? Want to see the video of that?  You said, “Jesus Christ — admittedly was not perfect when he was here on this earth.”

Don Lemon: Well, I’m sorry I said that. Kind of humiliating to see that, now that I see you here in Your Place.

Jesus: You’re… “sorry”?  So NOW you know that I was – perfect, without sin?

Don: Never really looked into it, I guess.  Sorry.

Jesus: Never saw it in the Bible? It was the greatest book every written!  And you did not look into it?  Why would an intelligent man like you never look into the claims made there about being God?  Why would you not want to know what I was revealing to you?

Don: Just never believed it was a book – from a God Himself!

Jesus: I co-authored the whole thing, you know… the Bible – all the books in it?  I inspired appointed ones to write down in their own words as I inspired them with revelations that I wanted known.  I actually helped them, Me the Holy Spirit, with every word so it would be passed-down correctly through the centuries.  It arrived for you all written down, totally inerrant.

Why oh why did you totally not care…?

You know? …I know.  I’m just expressing the sorrow I have for you, and all the others who were so full of yourselves that you never bothered to investigate for yourself — what I made so very, very clear.

So sad.

I mean, here I went and created all that is before you; all of it.  And you thought — what?  That it all just came into being?   —- How?

Totally depraved mind.  So sad.

Jesus [speaks to the Angels on both sides of Lemon]: Take Lemon to the line-up for later sentencing with all the rest.
