Being faithful to Jesus – that is what we want, right? Being faithful – when the Rapture happens? (I really want to go on that ride!) I live for Jesus, and that is why I live with confidence. How ’bout you?
Jesus warned us not to be dishonest with Him
There are “tares” (weeds; the unrepentant: Luke 3:17) in churches today – tares amongst the true wheat. And many of them, the unrepentant, are yanking on the pastor’s left ear, tearing it (pun). Pastors need you true Christians yanking on his other ear, encouraging him to preach all the gospel. Which one are you – tare or wheat?
It is ridiculous to have good pastors bending to the left – when Jesus is on the right, in the right. (That’s no joke. Current politics [11/2020] will never find Jesus on the Left).
The
(1) Left
and
(2) Jesus’ worldview
are diametrically opposed to each other.
This is not to say that Democrats are necessarily on the road to Hell, nor that all Republicans are saved, shoe-ins for heaven – “in lock step” with Jesus. Not at all.
However… accepting Jesus- plus some other is totally rejected by Jesus. That “other gospel” faith is the road that leads to the other place, not to God’s Home Heaven. See: Matthew 6:24. (See both: 2 Corinthians 11:4 and Galatians 1:7.)

Saved through grace and sheer mercy.
We are not saved by how we vote, nor by what party we join.
- But, beware –our worldview reveals where our heart stands.
- But, beware — voting shows what we stand for.
- But, beware — being faithful to Jesus means we live daily …while set on God’s will, His values and His purposes.
When are we ever to do anything without being set on God’s will, His values and His purposes?
Conforminitis (Romans 12:2)
Have you slowly, over time, caught a malaise? I call it “conforming-itis”… conforming to the ways of the enemies of our soul. – Source: Voting Dichotomously
Are you forgetting this about their ways, that “…these do not come from the Father, but are from the world”? (1 John 2:16)
We should continually remind ourselves that life is all about being faithful to Jesus. It’s not so much about politics (although a life lived fully – includes politics and voting wisely.)
- Life is a proving ground – where we show God what we’re made of. What are you “made of”. Are you 100% His?
- Life is like a game show. It’s up to us to choose between two doors. And the show hosts give all kinds of insider hints. You can’t miss it.
Today we want options. We want everything to come with options. “Opt for this. Opt for that….” We want to choose for ourselves what we want. And we want to leave out what we don’t want. Many religions and philosophies allow that. They will accommodate you. Whatever suits you, is fine, some say.
In complete contrast, Jesus will not accommodate to your wishes and to your beliefs.
God will not adapt to you, fit into your agenda, nor let you suit yourself.
He is not obliged to you for anything. He is not trying to do you a favor.
He invites us to enter into His Kingdom. He does not promise to build you your own kingdom! The ditties “Have it your way” and “I did it my way…” do not apply to God’s way.

A life that’s lived for Christ.
It’s not a popularity contest to see who is the nicest. It’s a life that’s lived for Christ – to show myself to God as “approved”. Not to show man, but to show God. When I step into His realm That Day, I want to enter His approval for what I’ve done on earth, for the good fruit I produce by the power of His Spirit in me.
Since my sins have already been removed forever by His grace – I’m not trying to “get forgiven”. That is a done deal from that moment in time that He saved me. So now that I’m saved, my life goal is that I will enter His presence knowing that by His Spirit I did my best to be a healthy, redeemed soul for His glory. – Source: A worthy life
When are we ever
to do anything
without being set
on God’s will,
His values and His purposes?
When we turn to Him – we will live for Him. Living for Jesus is THE sign of a changed life. The true follower of Christ has this type of life goal: to then live a life that is worthy. If not, well, it does not matter how you live it.
Not changed – not saved!
I am free, forgiven, no longer condemned – for Jesus, only Jesus, is Lord of me. All of me, all I am, all I do, all for Him. And when I sin, for yes I do, His love is there, always love, always love. Never condemnation – no more, never again, because Creator God said so. Jesus is alive. – Source: Lost I came to Him
