What we will be like – in God’s Home Heaven – OMG

In God’s Home Heaven, we will all forever be:

living in incorruptible, immortal bodies – like Jesus.

⁵⁰Now I say this, believers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit nor be part of the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable (mortal) inherit the imperishable (immortal).

⁵¹Listen very carefully, I tell you a mystery [a secret truth decreed by God and previously hidden, but now revealed]; we will not all sleep [in death], but we will all be [completely] changed [wondrously transformed],

⁵²in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at [the sound of] the last trumpet call. For a trumpet will sound, and the dead [who believed in Christ] will be raised imperishable, and we will be [completely] changed [wondrously transformed].

⁵³For this perishable [part of us] must put on the imperishable [nature], and this mortal [part of us that is capable of dying] must put on immortality [which is freedom from death].

The born again
from earth will go to heaven and will be:

living in body, soul, and spirit.

We will not be “spirits”.
We will not be “ghosts”.

We will not be angels.
We will have “glorified” bodies – like Jesus when He was resurrected.

“⁴and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes;
and there will no longer be any death;
there will no longer be
any mourning,
or crying,
or pain;
the first things have passed away.”
– Revelation 21:4

living in incorruptible, immortal bodies – like Jesus

In God’s Home Heaven we will be – – –

invincible
holy, with no temptations
never know sin again – always right with God

living perfectly – never again struggling with sin

totally new – with our old sinful nature gone forever

free thinkers

totally free spirits

independent souls

self-driven

thoughtful

creative

highly intelligent

adventurous

joyful

never sick

never sad

never shed a tear (based on Revelation 21:4, 1 Corinthians 15:50-53, and other verses)

We will see better times – and be forever young – – –

imperishable
eternal
knowing how to discern between good & evil

never sinful

never condemning of others

never violent

never thinking ill of others

always tolerant to the nth

never failing

always loyal

loving others with limitless grace and compassion

always considerate of the thoughts of others

always highly valuing others

forever generous

incorruptible

loving God forever “with all that we are”

Wowy. Are you ready for that? I mean — really ready for that?

I look. I see. I feel.
I think. I choose. I choose You.
You are good. You are so wonderful.
You died and rose again – for me.
How can I not follow You
with all my heart,
with all my soul,
with all my mind,
with all my strength?
How can I not
strive to love my neighbors
as much as I love myself?
