Oh to be faithful and true to the end. It’s not too late, yet, for you — for all of us who still are alive on planet earth. Ready to meet Jesus face to face?
If you are not now “faithful and true” to Christ, turn to Him today. God is asking you to repent. Come to Jesus.
2 Timothy 3: verses 14-17
14 But as for you, continue in the things that you have learned and of which you are convinced [holding tightly to the truths], knowing from whom you learned them, 15 and how from childhood you have known the sacred writings (Hebrew Scriptures) which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus [surrendering your entire self to Him and having absolute confidence in His wisdom, power and goodness].
16 All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]; 17 so that the man [a–all believers whether man, woman, or child.] of God may be complete and proficient, outfitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.
I live to be faithful and true every moment of every day, so I am ready when He returns. His Kingdom is that special to me.
I’m producing the fruit of His Spirit more and more. How about you?
– Source: The richness of your soul.
I am what God says I am. God says I am a brand new creature — in Christ. I am not the sum total of all my sins. Why? Because all my sins are gone gone gone gone. Because God Himself has declared me clean, cleansed by His judicial court. If (since) God has removed my sin “as far as the East is from the West…” then who but the Accuser would bring it up again, and attempt to lure me back to that old self? Do you?
I often tell myself, (self-talk), and converse with God, something like this: “I can be more and more like Him. I can change little by little as I grow in my faith. I can ‘[enjoy the spiritual well-being experienced by believers who walk closely with God]’ (v11 of 2 Corinthians 13:11-14).”
