When Jesus Christ is revealed… 1 Peter 1:13
As we read Bible passages about the end times, and match them up against day-to-day world news reports, it becomes apparent why more and more followers of Jesus are now becoming ardent Rapture Watchers, so to speak (fiery | hot | glowing). 1
“look up… because your redemption is drawing near”
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. – Luke 21:28 King James Version
Amplified version:
“Now when these things begin to occur, stand tall and lift up your heads [in joy], because [suffering ends as] your redemption is drawing near.”
“For the mystery of lawlessness [rebellion against divine authority and the coming reign of lawlessness] is already at work; [but it is restrained] only until he who now restrains it is taken out of the way. – 2 Thessalonians 2:7
“So prepare your minds for action, be completely sober [in spirit—steadfast, self-disciplined, spiritually and morally alert], fix your hope completely on the grace [of God] that is coming to you when Jesus Christ is revealed.” – 1 Peter 1:13
Jesus will completely surprise the whole world
According to Pete Garcia, “Normalcy Bias” keeps Christians saying – “Rapture can’t happen now!” Many Christians continue to believe that. But times “they are a’ changing” (Bob Dylan song). So what does Scripture lead us to believe?
When He Raptures us up, Jesus will completely surprise the whole world – as they are complacently living normal lives. We are not waiting for apocalyptic conditions to then think Jesus might return. No.
Scripture tells us the Rapture will not happen in apocalyptic conditions. He will return during “normal” times, just as in the days of Noah when suddenly the rains came and flooded the earth. He can Rapture us at any moment now.
“It will be
just the same
on the day that
the Son of Man is revealed.”
– Luke 17:30

We need not be surprised, as we are following Scripture which warns us of His return “as a thief in the night”. We know, so we are watching with great anticipation. It will be startling, perhaps! Wowie! But it should not catch us unawares.
We can see the signs of the times, read the prophecies about End Times, and stay informed about what is coming down the road. We cannot predict “the date nor the hour” but we can be ready when Scripture seems to be telling us what could be the period of time of His return.
“For you yourselves know perfectly well that the day of the [return of the] Lord is coming just as a thief [comes unexpectedly and suddenly] in the night.”
– 1 Thessalonians 5:2
As it was in the days of Noah
… Matthew 24:37; Luke 17:26-28; 1 Peter 3:20; Revelation 3:10-11
“For the coming of the Son of Man (the Messiah) will be just like the days of Noah.” – Matthew 24:37
“who once were disobedient when the patience of God kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through the water.” – 1 Peter 3:20
“10 Because you have kept the word of My endurance [My command to persevere], I will keep you [safe] from the hour of trial, that hour which is about to come on the whole [inhabited] world….” – Revelation 3:10-11
The Birth Pains period now
The “Rapture window” is now. We could say: “We are running out of normal”, as Pete Garcia put it (of rev310.net, formerly of the Omega Letter). Times are getting scarier and scarier. The Rapture apparently will have to come before “normal” type days are over, before all hell breaks loose with the Great Reset.
“Jesus,
who [personally]
rescues us
from the coming wrath”
His coming wrath
Before these days explode with agonies… Jesus will come to snatch us away, to “rescue us” (1 Thessalonians 1:10; Galatians 1:4😉 from those “not normal days” which are coming so quickly upon us all. He will rapture us out before “that hour which is about to come on the whole [inhabited] world”.
Read about His coming wrath: 1 Thessalonians 1:10, Revelation 3:10-11 and Luke 21:36.
10 Because you have kept the word of My endurance [My command to persevere], I will keep you [safe] from the hour of trial, that hour which is about to come on the whole [inhabited] world, to test those who live on the earth. 11 I am coming quickly. Hold tight what you have, so that no one will take your crown [by leading you to renounce the faith]. – Revelation 3:10-11
“…[look forward and confidently] wait for [the coming of] His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead—Jesus, who [personally] rescues us from the coming wrath [and draws us to Himself, granting us all the privileges and rewards of a new life with Him].” – 1 Thessalonians 1:10
34 “But be on guard, so that your hearts are not weighed down and depressed with the giddiness of debauchery and the nausea of self-indulgence and the worldly worries of life, and then that day [when the Messiah returns] will not come on you suddenly like a trap;
35 for it will come upon all those who live on the face of all the earth.
36 But keep alert at all times [be attentive and ready], praying that you may have the strength and ability [to be found worthy and] to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man [at His coming].”
“We are running out of normal”
The “second coming” of Jesus is actually split into two events: the Rapture is first, then, seven years later (at the end of The Great Tribulation), His Coming in glory with power.
1. In the Rapture: Jesus snatches up all followers of Christ that are alive on earth at that time, plus all “the dead in Christ” are resurrected to new life. This event can happen at any time now.
2. His Coming in glory: This 2nd Coming happens after the great battle of Armageddon, at which time He (and all His Angels and Saints) will destroy all His enemies — and then establish His thousand year rule on earth, called the Millennium. (Matthew 24:27)

“People were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building [carrying on business as usual, without regard for their sins]” – Luke 17:28
“Next year in Jerusalem”…as the Jews used to say
The aim now, according to news reports, is to have the 3rd Temple built by spring (?) 2023 (Listen to Convergence).
Prophetic fulfillment dates are stacking up! Be ready for the Rapture.
