There were two criminals crucified – on either side of Jesus. One was vile and unrepentant.
The other criminal on the cross next to Jesus had quite an amazing and inspiring day, hanging in agony all the way to his final breath. He defended Jesus the Messiah when the vile criminal railed against Him.
The prime biblical example of simple salvation in Christ is in Luke chapter 23, with this story:
The Thief on the Cross Hanging With Christ (Luke 23:39-43).
This video helps us understand the implications for us – when Jesus saved that criminal hanging next to Him. You don’t want to miss this one. And it’s funny.
